Is it ever that easy?

"According to the map we're almost in view, everyone good?" Charlea asks looking around.

"I could really use getting off." Maxi replies gently stroking her bulge.

"Shhh." Maribel says softly looking around. "Nature is disturbed. And not just by us. I have a feeling monsters are nearby."

"Then we inspect, this close to the end and we're not exactly a stealthy group, we've managed to this point." Maxi says still rubbing her bulge as she lifts her sword from its sheath. Our answer came quickly, birds disturbed in the next clearing drew our attention and we set off for it, cautious as this place was still hostile to lvl 1, this was an early game forest but it could still have some very dangerous late game enemies.

Coming to the edge of the clearing what we saw was two figures, one dive bombing the other, feathered wings spreading just before impact as she tries to grab the target, neither fairing too well in the fight as the pink one rolls away just barely getting hit, then firing of a psionic attack which missed. This fight was far from fair for the psionic, the gryphon that was striking at her was 2 levels greater, but thus is the life of mobs, fighting and preying.

"Maxi, that Gryphon needs to be brought down, bait it, charlea you, myronna and myanxa attack the psionic and mirabel help maxi and I with the gryphon. When maxi gets it to the ground entangle it. They both look low on health from their own fight so lets catch us our first two. Dashing out, with Maxi just in front of me i raise my staff blasting a fire bolt at the gryphon to get her attention, and oh boy did it, she dived at me only for maxi to move in with her shield raised, as the gryphon collided with the shield maxi grunted and shoved back trying to bring her to the ground, I slipped around bringing out the twin scythes, using all 6 arms was still foreign to me, so it took some effort swapping as I brought my scythes striking at one of her wings, to no effect as she bats my scythe away and growls getting a growl from her as Maxi pushes harder against her drawing drawing the attention back as Maxi grabs her ankle dropping her sword as she drags her down slamming the gryphon into the ground and shouting out.

"Maribel! Now!" As she wrestles with the gryphon, moments later the vines grow out around them snaring both the gryphon and Maxi who only grins as she holds down the gryphon bringing her fist into the gryphon's side, the gryphon though scratches out with her talons only making Maxi more anxious and antsy, as she puts the shield away grabbing both claws abd headbutting the gryphon dazing them both.

With Maribel still aiding Maxi I turn to the other group to see them having just finished the fight, turning back again I chuckle and watch Maxi's wrestling come to an end, with the gryphon panting and beaten Maxi grins, despite the blood trailing down her forehead. "Maxi, I know I've said this before. But, stop going against the 'nobody wins with a headbutt.'"

Maxi just grinned and laughed. "But its too much fun. Anyways. We should get these two tied up and finish finding our base."

"What, no after match ravage? To the victor goes the spoils?"

"Mmm tempting, but for now, we're not the level of the area, and I'd rather not be jumped mid boning."

"Well at least you learned your lesson from the beta." I say chuckling. Remembering her ravaging a harpy before the den was cleared and a bunch of harpies pounced nearly beating her.

We do take what we want, but for monsters and such we're building a home for you. A place that is safe from being attacked.
