Iris

Iris, Ash's traveling companion from Unova, was currently facing him with her back. She continued to walk along the path that led through the woods, not having noticed that her traveling companion had stopped as she admired the beautiful Kanto landscape. Just like Ash had with his Pikachu, Iris had also sent her Axew ahead to Professor Oak, so it wasn't rustling around in her hair as it usually would.

As Ash went to catch up with her again, he kept looking down at the remote he held in his hands. Intrigued as he was, Ash ended up pressing one of the buttons, unaware of the fact that it was pointed straight at Iris and the effect it would have.
