Investigate farm

While trudging through the putrid swamp you see land that is not barren and dead. Instead it has lush green fields with crops growing all over it, a stark contrast to the gloomy grey of the water you are wading through. In the middle of all this bountiful land is a farmhouse and a barn next to it. Deciding to investigate the farm you begin to walk through the field. ‘It's strange that these plants could grow in such a harsh environment’ you think but maybe the farmer will have some answers. As you reach the fence encircling the farmhouse a man exits the building. He appears to be middle aged with some fat on his stomach. He has short black hair and a beard that he has grown out. As he spots you he gives a wave, he seems friendly just now but you approach cautiously.

“Well hi there. My name's James, me and my two brothers own this farm how can I help you ma’am.” He says jovially while taking a seat at the stairs leading to the front door.

As you enter the house a noise of a woman moaning appears to come from the barn, strange. But it's then followed by a moo of a cow, you shake your head, must be hearing things wrong. The interior of the house is clean and appears to be well looked after, everything seems normal apart from the red eyes on your host. He takes you to the kitchen and pours a glass of milk. “Here, this will make you feel more energetic.” James says while handing the glass to you.

After drinking the delicious milk it invigorates you. Seems he was right, this stuff is great. He stares at you, seemingly waiting for something. Deciding to find Alice as quickly as possible you ask “Could you tell me where Alice is now?”
