Note: This story is a reimagining of the story of Slaves Life by Tapdancingfish, which only had about 30 pages in it in total between the two or three authors who worked on it before it was abandoned. So, I adopted it.

Your spine shivers with excitement as you approach the **** docks for the first time since you were a boy. Today is your day of reckoning; the day you will claim and begin training your first ****, taking your first steps toward manhood and lordship over the Windrider estate in the process.

"Ya nervous, Andrean?" Your father asks as he claps a heavy hand on your shoulder. His calm eyes twinkle with pride upon his bearded face.

"A little," you admit. "But also a bit excited. I mean, after all these years..."

"...It's finally come lad, I know. I felt the same when I was your age."

His smile fades as the two of you enter one of the crowded warehouses, but upon spotting your procession of 10 guards, the people parted like a waterfall. As they should, you note with smug satisfaction.

A small voice calls out to your father. "Welcome, sir!"

"Ayyyyy... Garmen! It's good to see you, my old friend!" He responds as he rushes to shake the hands of the grizzly old hunchback who had approached them.

"I take it that it's the lad's special day?" The auctioneer asks. "My... my... how he has grown."

"Ahaha, indeed he has."

"Come, come, my good master," Garmen says, gesturing you towards a nearby set of **** pens. "I have a fresh batch of beauties that arrived just this morning, and I am sure you will love them."
