Introduction 2

As the footsteps sounded like earthquakes Lorina's body began to feel the touch of ****, it's clammy hands on her body as it drew her up. She groaned, revolted at the touch of such a thing. A thing of **** as it breathed against her face, "No.. I'm... not.. dead", she said. Her eyes staring out now, a new found strength however brief as she caught sight of what held her.

"I know.. you are not..", it whispered to her. It's eyes where black, pits of pure Onyx stone, the creature's body far larger then hers as it drew her up to it's own full height. Hanging above the ground Lorina felt her body almost fly, "..And you will not die my dear Lorina.. for I will not let you. I felt your cry in my heart when Kirill killed you", the creature's eyes staring into her own. "Even now he is planning his next ****. He wants to be king.. he wants to rule the Elven Kingdom of Quistin. For that he first needed the king's daughter out of the way"

Lorina groaned as she stared at this demon, "..Then I'll kill him", she hissed, "But I'm so very afraid you cannot, it was some time before I found you my dear. And he has already placed himself in a very favorable position. Time will soon come when Kirill will be crowned King", the demon said, the woman shook her head and spoke "Then I'll.. I'll die trying", the demon sighed deeply as he stared into her fiery eyes. "Then you would be throwing this opportunity away.. I have revived you Lorina do not throw away your life or legacy away so carelessly", the elf maiden strained her neck as she looked around, the trees, the woods, her legacy, her father's kingdom. A bastion of solitude perhaps. But also her people's strength.

"What will he do with our people? ', she asked, the demon spoke truly and Lorina felt her heart sank as she saw the visions, "I will show you", he said as Lorina was transported, dressed in black armor she stood on a battlefield of the dead, her own kin dead in the hundreds around her. Kirill at the front of an elven army behind her, his arms raised in victory. Then a thunderclap, the world splitting asunder, a great tear in the sky as something was given birth.

From the rip in space came a creature, it's height ten times that of any elf, it laughed as it stared at the elven army, "Slaughter them my minions for they have finally destroyed the last bastion that protected this wretched world", Lorina screamed as she saw the elves butchered to the last, finally returning to the world Lorina stared into the eyes of the Onyx demon. "The demon you saw is Kestor, the ender of Worlds, he has ended mine as well. There was a prophecy when I was but a young being, one of us would survive the exodus from our planet.. and he would give his life to end Kestor. For hundreds of years I saw no way to do this, stuck on your planet I plotted and tried my hand. I built the gates that would keep him out. But now.. Kirill will undo everything I have done.."

The great demon's breath labored, "..But there is one chance, one hope, now I see the prophecy's strength.. I will give my life.. to you Lorina.. and you will unite the people of this world under your banner and stand against Kestor..", Lorina's body shook as the demon fell to it's knees. "Avenge.. the dead Lorina..", it said, it's great lids closing as it slumped down. Lorina in it's grasp, slowly unraveling as the demon's body decayed.
