“Welp, let’s get to it…”
Into the facility.
Desmond was in the midst of the group, as they walked into the open door, before seeing an elevator door across the room from them, as he walked over to it, pressing the button, as he heard a whooshing from the shaft, as after a few minutes, the door opened, as the group entered, of course, after having Evelynn listen ahead, finding it to be somewhat clear, as they pressed the lowest floor available, as the elevator lurched downwards.
And after another few minutes, the elevator had reached the bottom, nearly twenty floors below the ground, as Desmond started looking around, leaving Big Red to guard the others, as he made his way through the floor. But then, he saw a Vault door, not numbered as others are, merely written upon it, ‘Military Installation 25’.
As Desmond walked up to it, the door automatically opened, revealing twenty or so people, each and every one of them holding an **** rifle trained on Desmond.
And as he stood before them, looking at every figure, Desmond carefully considered how much of this gunfire he could handle before he could take everyone else down, as he reached for an axe at his waist, as he grinned a sly grin.
But before he could act, he heard a voice call out, shuffling between the large group, “Everyone! Hold fire!” Ashe heard this, Desmond tried to remember where he’d heard it before, “Well well well, Desmond Scorch…”
As Desmond heard this figure speak his name, he had a sudden surge of memory, as he asked abruptly, “Alice Hartiggee…? Is that you?”
She had finally made her way from the crowd, as she responded happily, “Yes it is. In the flesh…” She stopped, for only a moment, as she asked intensely, “How’d all that happen?”
As Desmond stood there, he reminisced for a moment, before speaking, “Well…. The Vault for the vets was a bust, after only a year… And when I got in the pod, it just… Didn’t work. I got irradiated, but it didn’t hurt me. Not like it did others.” He stared intently at Alice, as he whistled out, as an enthusiastic Big Red popped into view, shocking the other group nearly into dumping their entire magazines, and others into nearly defecating themselves, as the monstrous tiger walked up to Desmond, before curling up at his feet. Then, Evelynn and Esrin came into view, as they walked to Desmond as well, joining his side, as he spoke once more, “Then I met them… First Big Red, then Evelynn, then Esrin…”
Alice responded happily once more, “Well, I’m amazed you're still alive after all that, then… It’s good to see you again.” She walked up to him, as she hugged his colossal form, feet loosely dangling in the air, as she simply hung on his form, ecstatic at seeing a true friend from before the war. “So… You’re Evelynn…? Like it did others, huh…” As she assumed which was which, she whispered out his exact words, as she stared into Evelynn’s eyes, an expression of remorse laid bare on her face.
Evelynn, in turn, smiled wide, as she responded in the affirmative, “Yes, Miss Alice, I’m Evelynn Stars…” She responded, as she reached a hand out towards Alice, as she took it in hers, before embracing her. Then, she whispered into her ear, “You’ve been watching us for a while… You like Desmond too, don’t you…?”
As she asked this, an immensely intense blushing came to Alice’s face, as she sputtered a few wordless breaths out, as she looked over at Desmond patting his pet tiger atop the head, nearby, the yet to speak Esrin, her gaze quite apparently containing lust.
The crew with guns trained on the possible intruders felt a tad uncomfortable, as they simply walked back into the depths of their base.
Then, Desmond and his crew was brought into the base, led by Alice, the leader of their contingent, as she brought them to a room, containing four beds, as Desmond pushed three of them together, as he simply laid upon it, but then he heard cracks and shouts of strain from their frame. Then, with a final burst, the beds simply collapsed from his weight, as he then rose from the bed, as Evelynn and Esrin set to arranging the mattresses on the floor, as Desmond sat there, feeling quite perturbed.

Fallout: Another Irradiated Revenant
The Super Mutant
Desmond Scorch was experienced in the art of war, and all the way up to October 23rd, 2076, he'd been a showpiece for the acts of war, and all his glory and valor were the prime example of why war worked, despite Desmond's own disdain for every medal he'd ever gained. Will Desmond survive the bombs? Will he survive the distrust at his new, irradiated appearance? Will he survive the fall, the disgusting degradation the apocalyspe will inevitably bring? Who knows. But the journey to find out will be glorious, and filled with many delights, and of course, war, because, as you very much know, war never changes.
