Into the Lion's Den

"By the way, Gemma, we never learned what classes you were taking..." Pansy said walking next to her.

"Um let's see..." Gemma began taking out her letter, "Potions, Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Care of Magical Creatures, Herbology, Transfiguration, Astronomy, and Divination."

Wait...Astronomy....Divination....Gemma knew she was terrible at these, why did the Headmaster put them on her class list?

"Oh you have a lot of classes with us!" Millicent exclaimed.

Well that would explain it then...

"Really that's great!" Gemma said trying to show enthusiasm.

Much of the shopping went rather quickly in Diagon Alley. The Potion ingredient shop was easy, she just went in and placed an order for all the ingredients to be delivered along with her cauldron.

Gemma noticed how the boys had seemed disappointed when they arrived at Madim Malkins Robe shop and found out Gemma instantly knew all her sizes, so she wouldn't be getting measured for a robe in front of them.

The young group eventually found themselves in front of another store. Weasley's Wizard Wheezes.

"Ugh, why are we here anyway?" Draco complained, standing behind Gemma.

"Draco, they're the only place that carries Wonder Witch," Pansy said as if that explained it.

"Fine..." came the blonde's response.

Gemma was quickly dragged into the store she partially owned. Or rather used to own? Her old body had provided the funds for the store, and in return she was allowed to take whatever she wanted for free, although she knew that part of their deal was over.

Weasley's Wizard Wheezes was the name of the Weasley twins joke store. They also sold random other things like makeup, pets, and anything else they invented.

Gemma was quickly dragged over to the Wonder Witch section by Pansy and Millicent while the boys looked at other stuff.

"Gemma you have to get this luminous lipstick, it's to die for." Millicent said picking up a tube and putting it in her hands.

She looked over the sparkly tube.

This was definitely the same lipstick they had in Witch Weekly. Something told her she had to have it.

Swept up in a rush of makeup glee Gemma quickly grabbed one of everything, Luminous Lipstick, Everlasting eyelashes, Ten second pimple vanisher (the most important one), Bloody Blush, and more.

Gemma figured this was just a part of being a witch. It was natural for a witch to want to look good and wear makeup.

The black haired witch slowly made her way up to the front counter with an armful of things. Gemma almost froze when she saw who was up there.

"Wow somebody wants to look good, although I can say now you don't need it love," Said a red haired wizard she knew all to well.

There at the counter was Fred Weasley.

"Can't say I've seen you around here beautiful do you have a name," He added with a wink.

Before Gemma could answer she heard another familiar voice behind her.

"Oy, I don't pay you to flirt, I pay you to check out the customers." the voice of George Weasley quickly said.

"What do you think I'm doing brother dear, I'm checking her out, and you don't pay me anyway!" Fred quickly quipped back with another wink at her.

No, no, no, no. It could not fall apart now. She had been doing so good. She had wanted nothing more to than to shout "Oy it's me you ponce!" but she knew how bad that would turn out. For one she wasn't a boy anymore so ponce wouldn't really make sense. For two she was undercover!

It was one thing to get hit on by your former enemies, it was a completely other thing to get hit on by your friends. She definitely wasn't attracted to them, but why was her body betraying her again!!!

Gemma's face quickly turned red from the attention and she turned away from him. Now that she thought about it Fred and George weren't that bad looking...

No, no, no. Not this again. Gemma was quickly torn out of her thoughts as the twins continued their bickering.

"See that, you made her uncomfortable now she'll never come back!" George cried out.

"Sorry Miss, forgive my brother, he's too horny for his own good," George continued as he tried to make it right.

Gemma's face could only turn more red.

"Now your the one making her uncomfortable!" Fred quickly cried out.

"Here miss, take these free of charge, as an apology, just promise me that you'll come back one day..." Fred said as he handed her the bag of stuff.

"S-Sure, I promise, th-thanks," Gemma said slowly.

Gemma was about to leave when she heard George continue the argument.

"You can't just keep giving away merchandise to pretty girls! Don't think I didn't see you slip your card in there either!" George exclaimed.

"So you admit she was pretty! And I haven't done it that much!!" Fred said in a gotcha tone.

"How many times have you done that since we opened, 3, 4?" George asked as he moved behind the counter.

"You have to think about the return on your investment, brother!" Fred shouted finally.

Gemma couldn't take it anymore in the store so she left and waited for her friends to come out. She definitely couldn't be around the Weasley Twins anymore, they were too much for her and she didn't like the directions her thoughts had started going.

Gemma didn't have much time to dwell on that as a couple minutes later, she saw that everyone in her group come out of the store. They had all made purchases even Draco, the one who complained the most about going in.

She followed behind them as Blaise took the lead on their next stop in Diagon Alley.
