Into a new routine

Heading back towards the dining room, Carla made sure to keep pace with her wife. It would be quite rude of her to go ahead, especially since they were both equal woman in Allah's eyes.

"Oh my." Haniya remarked, taking in the two abaya-clad woman standing before her. While the convert had seen the effect the quran had on the pair, this was far better than she was expecting. "I guess you fell in love with the niqabs and abayas?"

Her guests nodded.

"Pretty much." Carla answered, red cheeks hidden under the fabric of the niqab. "I'm guessing we can't keep these?"

Haniya took a deep breath, looking away for the briefest of moments. On one hand, those were two of her nicer getups they were wearing. But she had more than enough to go around at the moment.

"You can keep them." she answered, watching her guests light up. Mumbles of something followed, culminating in a nuzzle for the couple. "Remember, pray five times a day, always have a quran on hand and remember to always wear your veil among other things."

Carla and Rina nodded, taking the time to grab their clothes before heading off to their own home. Right across from Haniya's, it felt like an eternity.

"Home sweet home." Rina remarked, watching her wife make a beeline for the laptop. Navigating to Taiga (the online store for everything you needed), her attention returned to Carla. "You ready for this?"

Carla nodded. After all this aimless wandering in her life, she was certain now that the path was right before her.

Their packages arrived the next day. Of note, was a pair of quran's, enough abayas, niqabs and gloves to cover their entire week and of course, a cute little black cat plush in a niqab.

"Aww..." Carla remarked, picking out the plush as they began dividing up the outfits. Then, it was time for prayer. Just four more times today. "Have a good day at work, dear!"

Rina nodded, making sure to nuzzle her wife. Then she headed out, leaving the former punk to her own devices for the next couple hours. So she turned to drawing. Out of work for the moment, maybe inspiration would come to her. Putting pencil to paper, Carla began drawing an abaya. A large abaya that could be worn as a wedding dress.

"It's a start."
