Interuption?

As she was contemplating her future she heard a clanking of metal coming from the caves, She hid behind a nearby rock to see what was going on as a paladin came into view. Obviously a low rank one seeing as there armor only bore regulare steel plating rather than silver or divinium trim but did not make him any less dangerous.

When she was younger her mom had taught her the signs and looks of the Silver Dawn. Back then she thought they were cool especially since at the time the two factions had no quarrel. But that opinion obviously changed when they attacked her village.

So as she looked from her vantage point she figured that this young paladin had been a low rank for sure. Probably trying to make a name for himself as they came down here searching for a rumored beast in the cave. Dyk knew she should have been more careful in her younger years but she always did her best to scare off rather than hurt the miners. The paladin continued to clank walking forward as he gazed upon an old dilapidated temple adorned with torches of purple fire that seemed to never go out. Dyk knew she had to stop them from leaving with information on the temple.

So she stealthily reached for her pack and pulled out her shortsword and got ready to face the enemy. While the paladin was looking else where she charged and try and stab them in the back only to hit the armor and kind of slid off it. Though she managed to cause a small cut on an arm as the follow through of the stabbing.

Just a minus one she thought, but she had no time to complain as the paladin turned around and looked at what had attacked. The paladin first punched her in the gut causing her to be move some distance back, her guess was around 3 feet.

[You have been damaged. Your Health -12]

[Current health = 38]

“Fuck this is not good,” Dyk thought to herself. “If I even take a couple more blows like that I am a goner”. This thought lasted until the paladin unsheathed his sword and said a short incantation before thier blade crackled with silver energy. This was one of the most famous moves in the paladin arsenal [Holy Smite 1] it was very dangerous to her kind and made her cautious of the current battle.

"I will cleanse this world of your demonic filth" came the muffled voice from the paladin. Just then she saw the paladin wen to strike and Dyk barely avoided being hit but she was scratched by the blade causing some damage as she quickly backed away.

[Current health = 29]

[You have been hit with holy damage: [Blessed Weakness 2] for 22 seconds. [Flight] ability is unusable and [Agility] stat -25% effectiveness for the duration]

Dyk had barely been hit by that last attack yet it did significant damage to her. So when she saw that the paladin was going in for another strike she had her shortsword ready to block as the swing came down.

Though as ready as she thought she was she clearly was out of her league as she blocked the blow, but the sword broke under the shear **** of the attack. She was also knocked back a couple of feet.

Using her inteligence she decided to break off a nearby rock using her claws and her robe as she tore what she needed off exposing some of her lower body. She formed a sling and slung it at the head of the paladin knocking his helmet off.

[Your Target has been hit by your attack, Target Health -10]

When the helmet came off it clacked off the cave floor causing an eerie silence between the two opponents for a brief minute. But then Dyk was about to be in for a shock....

"How dare you damage me you demon cur you have no right to even exist much less damage me" As the paladin spoke and lifted his face. It was actually revealed that 'he' was actually a 'she'.

The paladin managed to regain her bearings as she was getting ready to attack again. But that was exactly what Dyk was gambled on as she activated her skill [Seductive Stare].

[You have activated skill [Seductive Stare], Your current Charisma is doubled while facing the enemy for the next 5 minutes 2 hour cooldown]

[Current Charisma = 16]

Using her psychic abilities Dyk wanted to stop the paladin in her tracks.

"You do not want to harm me, I am precious to you"

The paladin clutched her head trying to fight off the psychic attack.

"We do not have to be enemies we could be allies"

The paladin was still resisting as she picked up her sword and charged at Dyk.

Thinking quickly Dyk activated her [Psychic Affinity] to help her stop the paladin once and for all.

[You have activated [Psychic Affinity], Your psychic abilities have 20% increase for the next 5 minutes cooldown is 1 hour]

"You are my **** so KNEEL"

The paladin all but stopped and dropped to her knees. She looked at the imp before her with a blank devotion as if to await further orders.

“What the hell bitch”.Dyk said as she dusted herself off and looked at shocked at what she had just done. She was not expecting to have a paladin under her thumb so quickly.

Dyk took a minute to process this infomation. She was not expecting a paladin so soon maybe a squire or a soldier but not a paladin! She was just lucky that the paladin had been level 6?! She was just glad to be alive though unsure what to do with the paladin. She also earned her first [Racial skill] choice! Just like [Class choices] the options were adjacent to the skills she was using.

With a sigh she had figured she should figure out her options before saying the two words. She first figured she should heal herself but how?
