I am startled by a knocking at my door. I stop what I am doing and adjust my clothes as I walk through the apartment toward the sound. A peek through the peephole reveals a certain red-haired beauty.

It takes me a moment to realize the muffled sound must be the incoming text chime from my phone. I search around me until I find it hidden under a blanket. When I look at the screen I am confused. There is no message.

I stop what I am doing when I notice muffled voices coming from Kaitlyn's apartment. They are too indistinct to make out, but it sounds like it could be an argument, so I put my ear to the wall.

Voices from next door fade in and out. It sounds like Kaitlyn is having an argument with her husband. I freeze, listening closely, although I have difficulty making anything out before their voices fade from me.
