Interlude: Scorchscale the Scholar

In the Blackshade Marshes of the kingdom of Cousland there is a large population of monsters, among them are the small halfling sized reptilians known as kobolds, the goblins/halflings of the reptilian humanoids. They are numerous but weak, though they are also cunning and knows how to survive the marshes unlike many other races would care to attempt. Among these spread out tribes there is one particularly large tribe known as the Brimscale Tribe, led by the kobold/lizardfolk hybrid Flamefang who had taken dominion over one third of the marshes' southern regions on his own before establishing homes for his kobold relatives and friends. And among this large tribe of ten villages and four hideouts there was one in particular who nobody really knew of, his name, Scorchscale.

Scorchscale is not the most physical of kobolds he is just a little unknown kobold crawling along the marshes, using his knowledge of the nature to gather food, medicine, poisons and other different things for the shamans of the tribe, the high shaman being his mother. He never held much hope in life, he is physically weaker then common kobolds and he had no powers of the arcane, and neither was he very sneaky. All he had was his cunning, his intelligence and his knowledge of things, as he reads a lot, this had made him become known as Scorchscale the Scholar.
