Inspect the creepy thing!

You lean forward, inspecting the hanging object by the light of your staff. The spider is about the size of a large melon and shiny black in colour. It is cool to the touch and seemingly harmless. However it also appears to be hollow: giving it a shake, you can hear the sloshing of liquid inside. You also notice something else about the alter: the small bronze statues are all of humanoid women, in various states of undress. Most of them have been bound by webs and left in humiliating poses, with their most intimate parts exposed! As you inspect them even closer, you notice... one of them looks just like you.
