Inside for your appointment

You enter the building a little reluctantly. When you see the guard though, you instantly become your most professional self. You get into the character of Rodney Prince again, the no-nonsense, business mogul. The charismatic psychopath.

'Hi, I have an appointment with Mr. Pascal VanDerBilt, of the Dunder-Mifflin paper company,' you tell the guard, who's sitting at his desk, reading a "Donald Duck" comic. 'He will be expecting me right now, I suspect.'

'Ah, yes, well I wouldn't know about that, sir,' the guard tells you, uninterested. 'I'm just the guard of the building. You can just go up there. It's floor 3. There's the elevator.'

'Thank you, good sir,' you tell him, instantly regretting your choice of words. 'Have a good day.'

'Yeah, you too,' he tells you, not even looking up from his comic.

When you step into the elevator, you decide to up your game. The test run with the guard didn't go as well as planned. You need to play Pascal so hard that he will let go of some personal details, or you won't get any results for Alice. You don't want her to stay with him. Seeing Alice yesterday stirred some strong feelings inside of you.

The elevator rings, and you step out into a small hallway. To the left is a doorway, leading to an office space. You make your way into it, and find the receptionist right at the beginning. She's a small red headed girl, obviously very eager to help. This must be a pretty boring workplace.

'Hi, I'm looking for Pascal VanDerBilt, we have an appointment right now,' you tell her.

'Of course, sir,' she says enthusiastically. 'Pascal! Your appointment!'

From the left you see Pascal, suddenly standing up from his desk in the middle of the open floor plan office. Around him are a bunch of boring looking salesmen and women, and he looks exactly like them. He has his brown hair straightened neatly to the side, and wears a light blue shirt with a red tie. He looks a lot worse than he did in high-school, but actually very normal. Just like you expected. There is one strange thing going on though; a camera crew is filming it all. The camera man is filming straight at you, and you look into the lenze a little confused, while Pascal walks straight over to you.

'Mr. Collin!' he says, overly friendly, and not recognizing you at all. 'I'm glad you're here!'

'What's up with the camera crew?' you ask a little worriedly, lying on camera might make it a little harder for you.

'Oh, yeah, don't worry about them,' Pascal told you. 'They're just a documentary crew that's been following us around for a couple of years, I don't exactly know why. They're not going to use every little detail, so I don't think they'll use this in the actual documentary, or show, I don't really know what they're doing. It's best not to pay much attention to them.'

'Oh, alright,' you tell Pascal, getting a grip on yourself. 'Yeah, I'm totally comfortable with that. So, will we get to business?'

'Yes, of course!' Pascal shouts, a little desperately. 'Let's get into the conference room and I will sell you some paper!' He laughs a little awkwardly.

'We'll see,' you tell him, faking confidence. 'Show me to that conference room.'

He takes you into what looks like a meeting-room, next to the manager's office. A big conference table fills the room, and you take your places at either side. Pascal seems a little nervous for you, assuring you that your mask works.

'So. Mr Prince, I hear you want us to be your paper supplier,' he asks, a little uncertain. You notice that the camera crew has followed you in, and is monitoring every move.

'We'll still have to see about that Mr. VanDerBilt,' you laugh. 'You're just one of many paper supplier's in this town.'

'Alright, sir,' Pascal says, looking a little awkwardly at the camera. 'Well, tell me about your paper needs. I'm sure we can provide.'

'Good. I just started my company,' you tell him, unflinching. 'And the business has taken off quite well, as it turns out. As we're getting the company rolling professionally, and it's growing a lot bigger, we'll need a steady paper supplier. That's where you come in.'

'That sounds great!' he tells you enthusiastically. 'We're always looking for customers like yourself, Mr. Prince. What kind of company are you running?'

'An online business,' you tell him, getting a little worried that you're going to get found out. 'We sell sex toys. A very lucrative endeavor, as it turns out.'

Pascal laughs awkwardly, looking at the camera a little worried.

'No need to feel awkward, Mr. VanDerBilt,' you tell him. 'It's all strictly professional, I can tell you. I'm not interested in such things at all. Just in the money it makes me.' You laugh at the camera now, as confidently as you can muster.

'Alright, well, that sounds great, sir,' he tells you. 'Now, we can give you a steady paper supply, for a good price, as I'm sure you already know. You seem like a man who has done his research. But we can give you something else too.'

'And what is that?' you ask.
