Does John pull through from their attack?!
Inquisitors fall!
SURPRISE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION CHAPTER! (Looks at my age, cries in how old I am...)
“These halls are too narrow to properly fight, we need to get outside,” commented Mikuru as she and Miho took potshots at Fourth Inquisitor as he had them trapped in a room with his explosive rounds.
“Well no shit, Mikuru!” a snarky Miho replied as she released a gust of wind from her hands that changed the trajectory of the bullets to random locations. Each charged bullet exploded as they came into contact with a wall, door, floor, or ceiling, leaving holes and rocky debris everywhere.
“You two whores think you can hide in that room forever? Soon there won’t be a room left for you two to hide in!” shouted Fourth Inquisitor as he changed his aim to the walls and opened fire. His energy infused bullets made little work of the walls that the Asawaki twins were behind for cover.
“Quick, through the hole in the wall!” Miho told her sister as she sent a large wall of wind through the destroyed doorway and down the hall where Fourth Inquisitor was firing from. He jumped into a nearby room, as the wall of wind just barely missed him and slammed into the wall, destroying said wall. The twins had used the distraction exactly as they had planned, by dashing from their destroyed hiding spot and out the destroyed wall of the castle. The two glanced over to see Fran and John, locked in combat with their weapons.
“We need to assist John in his fight,” suggested Mikuru as she turned to begin running to John. Just as she was able to start, however, an explosion right in front of her prevented her from moving.
“Yeah, I don’t think shoot ‘em up is gonna let us, sis,” Miho informed her sister as she let out more blasts of wind to deflect or detonate the incoming bullets. Mikuru was tired of dealing with this ranged fighter. She always preferred a straight up fist fight over ranged combat.
“It’s time to end this! GOLEM FORM, ACTIVATE!” shouted Mikuru as she focused all her mana on entering the ground below her and attaching it to herself. Second Inquisitor was not about to let one of his opponents power up, so he immediately opened fire on the twins from the hole in the castle wall.
“I don’t think so!” said Miho as she began to spin around. “PATNADO OF PATS!” she shouted as her speed increased to such speeds that a tornado formed around her. Miho positioned herself between Mikuru and the castle, intending to prevent any bullets from reaching her sister.
“Thanks, Miho...” was all Mikuru could say as she watched her sister bravely put herself between her and their opponent. Mikuru watched as Miho’s tornado sucked in all the bullets that came at her. Surprisingly, the bullets did not explode, much to Mikuru’s amazement. She squinted her eyes to see that the bullets were very much still inside the tornado, just not moving. Is...is she capturing the bullets? What is your plan, Miho? And when did you gain that ability? Mikuru thought to herself. It was at that moment she realized that she was not the only one that had been training. No, you’ve been training just as hard as I have been, even if your methods were far more...unique. I guess playing with those two kids really did help you become stronger. They are deceptively fast, aren't they? Mikuru just smiled as the rocky formation on her body came to completion.
“Ready, Mikuru?” asked Miho, her voice like a whisper on the winds. Mikuru just nodded in her new form. “Right, then I’ll clear the path for you!” said the younger twin as she began to release the bullets she had stored in her tornado.
“Tch.” Fourth Inquisitor quickly rolled out of the way as a barrage of his own bullets impacted the entire wall of the castle, causing damage to everything. The single impacts left some damage but nothing major, while areas that got repeatedly hit left noticeable holes in the side of the castle. These holes and damaged areas were all over that side of the castle.
“Uh ha ha. I’m sure John won’t mind that...” was all Miho could say as she scooped up her sister and whisked them both back to the castle. “I’ll go grab him,” said Miho as her tornado seeped into the opening of the floor where Fourth Inquisitor was hiding. Miho created a funnel at the other end of her tornado, which caused everything in the hall to be sucked up and spit out by her tornado. Broken furniture, pieces of stone, and other rubble was the first to come through her wind tunnel.
Fourth Inquisitor, once he realized what Miho was doing, activated a grappling hook on his gun and shot it at the ground, which the hook quickly attached itself to. He quickly tied some of the rope around a column and hid behind it while clutching his gun closely. As much as he had hoped that would save him from the wind mage’s powerful tornado magic, it did not. He could feel the column’s pieces slowly be sucked into the funnel and saw as the floor tiles slowly peeled off and flew down the hall into the waiting funnel.
“I fucking hate wind magic!” yelled Fourth Inquisitor as the column was destroyed and the tile with the hook was ripped off the floor. With nothing else protecting him from the pull of the funnel, he too got sucked into it and spat out outside the castle.
There, Mikuru was waiting for him in her golem form. He looked up to see a monstrous rock fist smash into his chest. He could hear his ribs crack as he coughed up blood from his broken ribs digging into his now damaged lungs. A second hit destroyed what remained of his rib cage and thoroughly jumbled his internal organs.
“The...Order...will...surv-” was all he could get out as Mikuru’s stone foot crushed his skull, ending the threat and life of Fourth Inquisitor.
“Oh no, JOHN!” screamed Miho who watched the battle between Fran and John as her sister finished off their opponent. At hearing Miho’s frantic scream, Mikuru turned her head as fast as her rocky neck would allow her to see two angels standing over a collapsing John.
“No.. It can’t be...” Mikuru struggled with words as she watched the blood of her king drip off the blades of the two female angels. But when she thought all was lost, a beam of light shot out from John and engulfed him, preventing her from seeing what was happening to him.
Idena’s gauntlet once again bounced off the inflatable rubber ball AD-345 had to counter any and all electrical attacks. Idena was not a fan of those counters.
“FUCK YOU YOU FUCKING FUCK FUCK!” shouted Idena as she brought her foot over to kick the floating piece of technology. The drone did not expect that in its calculations. Idena’s foot connected perfectly with the drone, which went tumbling through the air and slammed into the ceiling. “HAH! GOT YOU!” gloated Idena, proud that she was able to finally hit the piece of technology. Her victory, however, was short lived as Second Inquisitor’s whip wrapped around her leg and with a powerful pull from him, Idena herself flew through the air into a nearby wall.
“Idena!” gasped Gali as she aimed her staff at Idena to cast a healing spell on her injured comrade. Idena glowed slightly as Gali’s light magic healed Idena of her minor injuries. Idena got back up, whip still around her leg. Second Inquisitor gave it another pull, which caused Idena to stumble as she lost her footing. As Idena hopped on her one foot, she got an idea. With a powerful flap of her wings, Idena shot back at a fast speed. She zipped past Gali who, after a second, realized what her ally was doing and readied her staff.
Second Inquisitor had not thought that Idena would quickly shoot herself back. His calculations said she was far more likely to attempt to hop at him and shock him into releasing her; her performing this move was near the bottom of possible results. Instead, now he was flying through the air towards an angry high elf with a staff she was most assuredly going to hit him with. No. There’s not enough time to readjust my trajectory. I shall be struck by the high elf’s staff. Second Inquisitor accepted this outcome and took the powerful blow to the side of his torso. He felt his ribs crack under the surprising strength of the beautiful elf.
“Good job, Gali!” encouraged Idena, who had unwrapped the whip from around her leg. With her movement now restored to her, Idena charged at Second Inquisitor, her gauntlets engulfed so much lightning, she left off a cackling sound as she flew straight for her target.
“Urg. AD-345, activate,” Second Inquisitor coughed up some blood before he could finish the command. Idena, who heard the start of the sentence, quickly glanced around and noticed the drone was no longer where it had landed after it crashed into the ceiling. “Electric counterattack G-4,” commanded Second Inquisitor.
Four cables sprouted from behind Idena’s opponent, who was only a few feet away from her smashing his face in. The bottom two cables buried themselves into the floor and seemingly kept going down through other floors. The other two cables, flew up and then down, straight for Idena. With a quick movement of her wings, Idena was able to spin out of the way of the cables, but also missed her target with her attack. The cables, however, did not stop. The two kept right on towards their target, twisting and turning to catch their prey. Idena did all she could to shake the two cables, but they continued to follow her from room to room, destroying walls and columns she tried to use to disable them.
Gali had watched and studied her opponent as he focused solely on Idena. He had correctly guessed that Idena was the main fighter and she was more a support. He, however, incorrectly thought he could ignore her until after Idena was dealt with. He should have learned that when she smashed him with her staff, but now he’d have to learn that lesson in a fatal way.
“Idena! Come back around! You’ll be alright!” yelled Gali as she began to cast a spell. She had to time this perfectly else her ally and friend would surely be defeated. Gali only had to wait a few moment until Idena came around the corner, the cables nearly about to grab her. “Don’t worry about the cables, go for the enemy!” Gali instructed her, to which Idena nodded in understanding. Idena beelined straight for Second Inquisitor, who had moved behind cover to protect himself from a potential attack from Gali while he was administering some healing potions to recover from his wounds. He heard Gali’s exchange and looked up to see Idena, cloaked in electricity, flying directly at him.
Just a few more inches and she will be neutralized. Then I can deal with that elf and return to the Grand Inquisitor’s side. Second Inquisitor placed his free hand onto his drone and pumped some magic into his creation, which gave it the boost it needed to push the cables even faster and grab Idena’s foot. The moment it made contact with Idena, AD-345 immediately started siphoning the lighting around the greater harpy and discharging it into the ground. At least, that is what was supposed to happen.
“Hah! Never ignore the support teammates!” yelled Idena, who was covered in a protective bubble by Gali. Idena rammed into Second Inquisitor, the **** of their collision carried all three of them through not only that wall, but the next three walls. It wasn’t until Idena saw the cables fall limp and the drone tumble to the ground that she directed all the lightning she had around her directly into Second Inquisitor.
Idena watched as Second Inquisitor’s capillaries exploded, which caused lichtenberg figures to appear all over his body. The sheer amount of heat that transferred from Idena to Second Inquisitor caused his skin to burn to a crisp. Idena looked on with a devilish smile as she watched Second Inquisitor wreath in pain, which did not last long as she heard a loud pop and the man stopped moving, his heart having exploded.
“And that’s why you never ignore the elf!” gloated Gali as she made her way over to Idena and gave her a very sensual kiss. Her free hand groped the harpy’s ass as the two took a minute or two to celebrate with the victory kiss.
“Gali, remind me to fuck you very hard once this is all over,” Idena said as she gave the high elf’s left tit a squeeze.
“Oh don’t worry, Idena, I will be sure to remind you of that. And trust me, you’ll enjoy it very much. Now, let’s go help our king!” Gali gave Idena’s ass a little slap with the end of staff to get her going, in more ways than one.
Back to the main battle!
