Bio: Zach grew up in the suburbs in southeast Michigan. He was a literal boy scout for years, which is how he got into competitive archery. In his freshman year of college he received a severe injury to his left hand when his bow broke while drawn. He still has pain when gripping things too tightly with his left hand to this day. He met Heather in his sophomore year of college and they married two years after their undergraduate graduation. Zach continued to grad school in Computer Science while Heather started working as an accountant. Things were okay for a few years until Zach finished his PhD. and started working. Heather was happy that Zach was not bringing in money but not that he was earning a lot more than her. There were several arguments over petty things. Zach tried to repair things with his then wife, coming home early one Friday with flowers, and a weekend get away planned. Which was when he found his wife cheating on him, with one of his students. Zach filed for divorce the next day, and had the student transferred to another teacher, immediately.

Bio: Heather grew up in a rather conservative family, told that she should find a husband and settle down and have babies. Comments from her parents after Zach started working, about how he was making so much more money than her and she should become a stay at home mom now that Zach was working, plagued her mind and undermined her self-esteem.
