Influence

A short trip down the hall, Mike finds Alicia and Damon looking over test results on the monitors. They both turn as Mike walks in, and Alicia waves him over. She winks as he approaches, a smile on her face.

“Had a good night?”

Mike chuckles. “Like I said to Kyrie, it was wonderful. And they seemed to enjoy it as well.”

Alicia laughs. “Well, that’s not surprising! And maybe you can invite me next time.”

Mike smiles, shaking his head. “You and Kyrie both, apparently!”

Damon clears his throat. “If you two could discuss this later? There’s work to do here.”

Alicia rolls her eyes. “Of course we can. But at this point we could really consider sex a work related activity, you know.”

Mike laughs. “Exactly, it was training!”

Damon surprises both of them by laughing as well. “I actually hadn’t considered that! Fair enough. However, I think you’ll find this interesting. Come here, I’ll explain.”

Mike looks over Damon’s shoulder, but the numbers and charts are meaningless to him. Fortunately, Damon is more than happy to explain things to him. With a few keystrokes, the charts display labels, showing readings from Mike compared against similar readings from both Layla and Becca.

Damon nods. “It may not be obvious at first glance, but I think being in your presence triggered some changes in those two already. Using your initial scans as a baseline, they already show heightened libido and sensitivity.”

Alicia smiles. “Probably part of the reason they were so willing to return here.”

Mike chuckles. “Well, that’s a useful thing to have happening.”

Damon gestures towards the screen. “There’s more, and here’s the interesting thing. Based on the brain scans we did, there’s a much more obvious influence on their minds than on those of Alicia, Kyrie, or Liam. It’s something we’re going to need to monitor, but I believe that having their primary contact being with you has changed how they’re progressing.”

Mike looks confused. “What do you mean? What sort of influence?”

Alicia chimes in. “We think they like you more, to put it simply. We’ll need to keep monitoring it, but even just based on their behavior since arriving, I’d say they’re extremely attracted to you.”

Mike chuckles. “I’m guessing it’s not simply because of my wonderful personality.”

Alicia laughs, and kisses his cheek. “That doesn’t hurt! But no, if we can pick it up on our scanners, it has to be pretty significant.”

Damon nods. “We’ll be watching it closely, and if it continues, we may need to separate them from you. We don’t want to end up breaking their minds.”

Alicia smiles. “But for now, we can have fun as a group. By the way, I’m surprised they’re not here yet!”

Mike chuckles. “Well, Kyrie probably has something to do with that. I wouldn’t be surprised if she joined them in bed.”
