The group make it back to Aresque and head to Martin's first to have more throwing knives made, sacrificing another two silver Ingots in the process. While Martin works the group head to Liloth's home and find her already waiting.

"I expected you'd be back. I felt the **** of a demon... Someone was protecting the weapon?" she asks.

"Yes... An imp. Seemingly a servant of a rival Archdemon who sought to use the Mindflayers to hurt you through letting them harm the Drow and Driders," Yulia answers and Liloth's eyes narrow.

"I see... You got the weapon then?" she asks. Yulia holds up the Illustone.

"This is the weapon. A shard of Illustone, one of the mystical ores from Crater Under, it can be used to paint in any color the wielder desires and was found and used by a famous dwarf painter, we believe it to be the weapon the Mind Flayers fear," Yulia explains.

"Good... Then you can end the threat the Old Mind represents. I will be... indebted to you for saving the Deep," she says and there's a hint of **** there.

"A demon's debt is worth nothing," Cherchiel mutters.

"Do you happen to know anything about which Archdemon might have been behind this?" Yulia asks.

"If I had to guess Levateinn... No doubt she resents me for the worship I attained from the Drow and Driders, she has been trying for years to pull others under her sway, her great temple sits lonely and abandoned under the crushing waves. This would hardly be the first time she's tried to strike out at another Archdemon who has achieved what she could not. It could however be any of them. Us Archdemons do not tend to have much love for each other, scheming and betrayal are a normal part of our interactions. Whichever Archdemon this was however, you realize they will hold a grudge against you for foiling them, correct?" Liloth states.

"The Tower Below has already marked me for killing Ash Medai, having another Archdemon with a more personal enmity, can't be that much worse..." Yulia responds sounding resigned.

"Perhaps... I'll be watching you of course. As I said I'm indebted to you, speaking of... Once you've dealt with the Old Mind, I have a reward for you, feel free to come see me once he's dead," Liloth says with a smile.

Yulia nods, Cherchiel looks uncertain and the group leave and head back to Martin's and get another 10 throwing knives and with those acquired they head to Goma's shop to decide what to make with the ingredients given. As they wait for a decision to be made they contemplate their immediate future, "let's hope the Illustone is as useful as we've been led to believe," Yulia says looking down at it in her hand.

"It might be a bit too conspiratorial, but it wouldn't be impossible for Li to actually be a servant of Liloth simply meant to make the Illustone seem more authentic," Cherchiel suggests.

"It's possible... I'm not denying that, but if the Illustone isn't as powerful as we've been told, I have no idea what we could possibly do to fight the Old Mind... We have to hope that Liloth is actually honest..." Yulia responds.

"Liloth... Archdemon of Lies?" Isalia adds and Yulia sighs.
