"Captain Ward, you need someone with medical know how on this mission. What if you or one of your men get ill or injured?" Madeline argued.

"Look Miss Blackwater, me and my men know first aid and are well acquainted with how to survive the harsh environments we will face." He crossed his arms defensively.

“None of us know what’s out there—besides—I have logged hundreds of hours in the simulation chambers and on the range. I can handle myself out there. You know some of the guys who may go out there won't be nearly as experienced.”

"I know you know your shit Madeline but the Overseer would never allow it, even if I did request it he-" she interrupted him.

“ Captain Ward—you should think hard about it.” Madeline walked around to the side of his desk and leaned against it, first glancing down at all the piles of papers and folders then up at Captain Ward.

"I have many uses out there. I also know the human body quite...well." She eyed him up and down.

He eyed her with renewed suspicion and some animalistic sense deep in his eyes. He said nothing and let her made the first move—guarding against some intrigue.

“Perhaps I could be more…useful to you on the road than you think?” She unzipped her vault jumpsuit slowly as she threw her hair back with a coy smile, he breasts and womanhood exposed.

“Well” He eyed her lustily “you certainly could have some uses out there I think.” He stood up from the desk and moved forward to meet her.
