Indecision

Valarie moved out of the middle of the road onto the sidewalk, though it hardly mattered. Her pale, pinkish skin shown under the sun. She was completely exposed, except for the little her hands could hide. She looked around frantically, but they were in the suburbs and there was nowhere to hide, just rows and rows of houses.

Valarie tried to calm her frantic mind enough to think. Where could she go? She had no clothes, no wallet, no car. She could walk home... but that was five miles, and her house was in the city. She didn't even have a key to the door if she made it!

Valarie was sweating, and not just from the blaring sun. Besides that, she could go back and perhaps beg Stephanie and Jerome for assistance... but they were the ones who'd put her in this position in the first place! How humiliating would that be, to beg her cheating boyfriend and the girl who'd stolen him away for help butt naked?

The only other option she could think of was to knock on some stranger's door and ask for help. But, that would mean a total stranger would see her naked! Well, if she didn't do anything, any stranger happening by would see her naked anyways! Oh, what to do?!?!
