Important Note from the Author

This story was my first on CHYOA, and I have grown a lot since I wrote it. Both in terms of skill and as a person. People have asked me before to come back and finish it, but it looks like I will not have time to do so for the foreseeable future. I figured that I could just let it lie and leave things as they are, but ultimately decided not to do that.

Instead, I decided to open the story to other contributors. I don't know who - if anyone - is going to be interested in this frankly, but I'd rather people have the option even if no one uses it. The story has been moved to public, and anyone who wishes to can add a chapter or even a whole route with my blessing.
