Imperial Entanglements

After selling the Lars' Speeder and getting a decent sum of money, with Kenobi having to use Jedi Mind Tricks to ensure he got a decent amount, Obi-Wan was glad that things were finally starting to look up.

Once they got to Yavin-4, he would give Bail the plans so that they could find a weakness in this '**** Star' and then he could focus on training Lucy in the ways of a true Jedi to bring about a lasting Peace to the Galaxy.

However as they entered Docking Bay-69 where the Millenium Falcon was waiting for departure, Kenobi couldn't help but stare in horror at what awaited them.

Snap-Hiss!

That was the sound of a crimson red lightsaber igniting in the hand of Darth Vader, who stood by the Falcon waiting for them with a squad of Troopers, Inquisitors - including Leia and Rey - as well as Chewbacca and Hana Solo, with the latter now dressed in the uniform of an Imperial Officer.

Anakin smirked at his former Master. "Going somewhere, Obi-Wan?" he asked almost conversationally. It could almost seem like they were still saving each others asses during the Clone Wars. Just like old times. He turned to the officer beside him and smirked. "Very well done, Captain Solo." he told her. "I'm sure my daughter will oversee your reward."

Hana smirked at the old man's outraged expression as she pointed her pistol at him. "Always a pleasure to serve you, My Emperor." she turned to look at Leia Skywalker, and winked at her girlfriend who smirked back. "And My Princess."

But this wasn't the old times. Obi-Wan moved to ignite his own saber only for a pistol to be held against his head. He turned to see a very focused Shmi Skywalker glaring at him as she directed an equally aware Lucy and Beru towards the Imperials.

"Did you really think I wouldn't recognise those **** you'd given Owen, Kenobi?" she asked rhetorically. "Or that I would not make sure that my Granddaughter was properly educated and protected." As she spoke, Lucy was walked over to her Family and introduced to them by Beru. She hugged her newly re-discovered Daddy slipping something into his hand, before he directed her to the side where she shared a kiss and a tight hug with her sisters.

Obi-Wan looked shocked as he realised that Anakin was now holding a Data Card. Turning behind him to look at the droid, he saw that it was shut down and its card slot was open.

Enraged at how things had gone so wrong so quickly, Obi-Wan ignited his blue lightsaber even as he shook with fear. But before he could do anything more he was quickly surrounded by more Troopers led by Ahsoka, whose own red blades were likewise ignited. Kenobi couldn't help but recognise two troops on either side of her were non-other than Rex and Cody.

He turned back, to see Vader walking towards him. Without another word, the two former friends swung their blades which collided. But their battle quickly proved itself to be horribly one-sided as Vader was just too strong against the man who had not raised his saber in almost 20 years.

"You're powers are weak, Old Man." Vader mocked him.

Kenobi tried to put up some sort of act of defiance, even as he struggled. "You won't win, Darth." he told him, almost trying to believe it himself. "If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine."

Vader snorted with a shrug. "Maybe. But why take that risk?" he said rhetorically before slicing clean through Kenobi's Saber hilt, destroying it. Knocking his former friend to the floor with a hard kick, Anakin stood over him victorious. "Don't worry, Obi-Wan. I'm not going to kill you."

Obi-Wan looked both puzzled and worried, as Anakin's glare increased in ferocity and his eyes glowed yellow. He then began to list Kenobi's crimes. "You attempted to turn my wife against me! You kidnapped my daughter and **** her, my mother and the closest thing I have to a sister - the fact that it didn't work is besides the point! And you were the first person on the Council to raise their hand in favor of Ahsoka being executed for a crime she didn't commit!"

As Obi-Wan's face paled further with each crime he was accused of - made worse by the fact that he knew they were all true! - the Emperor grinned evilly as he disengaged his Lightsaber. He leaned closer and said "**** will be a mercy when compared to what I'll do to you, My Old Friend."

And with that, he nodded to Rex and Cody who immediately fired several stun bolts at the Jedi Master.
