Impending Doom

The entire assault went about as smooth as it could. You attacked into one entrance, Ashe the other, your remaining forces circled around the entire city, picking off, fighting and killing any Rathkin warrior that tried to escape.

Such a small town, especially when it got caught off guard, stood no chance what so ever against the entire Syndicate force. Rathkin warriors melted, civilians who brought up arms died and many others surrendered.

"Well done." you say aloud to the handful of warriors walking next to you. Your tiger staying behind, outside the walls, running down any random stranglers.

You're walking next to four other warriors, scouring the city for any more defenders. "Scout the entire city. Make sure there are no more warriors fighting. Again, leave the defenseless unharmed." you order. You can see many Warriors and Sunriders forcing Murnic civilians towards the biggest building in the middle of town, the Tavern.

You continue to walk the streets, eventually your group running into Ashe's group. "Well done Ashe." you nod at your High Commander "Any problems?"

"None at all, it was quite simple to take control." she nods your direction.

"I've told my warriors to bring any Murnic civilians into the Tavern." you point in the direction of the biggest building of Murnic "We'll keep all of them captured here, easier to watch over them that way. "you reply to Ashe.

"Sounds good." Ashe turns around, talking to some other Sunriders who immediately run off behind her "Just forwarding the news." she smiles "Soon we'll be able to relax for a few days." Ashe states.

"Exactly. I can't wait to just..." you pause, hearing a loud scream coming from a random house to your side, a women's voice shouting. "Hmm..." you turn your head, looking towards the direction the shouting came from.

"I wouldn't worry about it, Darien" Ashe replies "Just the Syndicate being the Syndicate. Let's go inside the Tavern, maybe we can find out who is in charge here."

"You four" you point to four other Sunriders "Follow me. Ashe, come too." you immediately turn towards the house where you just heard a scream.

Ashe gives off a heavy sigh, she knows what the Syndicate has done in war and what is probably going to happen inside. "Darien..."

"Follow me, now." you snarl at your High Commander from over your shoulder as you pull your hood up from your armor, encasing your face under the fur and fangs.
