Immediate acceptance

It’s difficult for you to even get a word in once the girls start grilling Brianna. The redhead takes it all in stride, a smile on her face as she answers questions and banters right back. As the evening wears on, it feels like the tone of the conversation shifts from an interview to more of a pleasant chat. You do learn quite a bit more about Brianna from listening in.

She explains how she’s never been completely comfortable in her role as a noble’s daughter, much preferring life in the field to the intrigue of the nobility. This seems to win over Melora immediately. A former noble herself, the seer is much happier now than she ever was before.

Brianna’s tomboyish nature also wins over Sarah, who feels much more comfortable in the forge than in a dress. The two of them share an enjoyment of combat as well, which also piques Ferra’s interest. Brianna is quick to clarify, however, that despite her love of battle, she always regrets being **** to take a life. Though it’s necessary, she always regrets it afterwards, a statement that has Cassie nodding in agreement along with you.

In spite of the occasional serious subject, Brianna manages to keep her tone light, her energy nearly a match for the irrepressible Alex. Nearly. The solar elemental is always excited to meet new friends, particularly attractive, energetic ones! Her banter with Brianna is generally flirty, and the warrior woman happily joins in with suggestive replies. It’s no wonder that Alex keeps glancing over at you with a big grin on her face.

Later on, as conversations cool off, Brianna looks across the table at you, giving you a crooked smile. “So, what do you think? Can I join you?”

You chuckle. “You’ve certainly had more of an interview than the rest of the girls. So unless there’s any objections…?”

You glance around, and see nothing but smiles and agreement from the others. Even Ferra gives your hand a squeeze, and nods to you. You smile, looking back to Brianna.

“I’d say that settles it. Welcome to the family, Brianna.”

Her smile widens, and her eyes sparkle with excitement. “So…now what happens?”

Beside her, Alex giggles. “Oh, I think you know what happens tonight!”

You roll your eyes, and the girls all laugh, including Brianna. Addie approaches, laughing as well, and interjects.

“I figured ya might get here, so i got one of the bloody rooms ready fawr ya. Go ahead upstairs, they’ah all open. Av fun!”

You smile, turning back to Brianna, only to see the redhead already dashing up the stairs, to the amusement of the others once again. You chuckle and shake your head, giving Ferra a kiss before moving to follow her. As you head up the stairs, you hear Alex’s voice between giggles.
