Ignore it!

This thing is clearly a distraction! Turning away from the strange altar, you head deeper into the mountain, following the dank path. It doesn't take long however befroe you sense something behind you. You glance back a few times and don't see anything but you swear you can hear something in the distance... a slimy sucking noise, like thick liquid travelling through a pipe. At last you can't take it any more and turn fully to see what is following you! There is is: a viscous, heaving mass of purplish jelly that fills the whole corridor and lurches slowly in your direction! You have a few seconds to prepare so make them count!
