Her both daughters were approaching five and six months of age when she'd been cast out of the horse men tribe. She was not sorry to leave nor would she miss anyone there, Aki felt a rise in her sense of freedom and was content to strike out on her own and provide for her young herself. Both infants were swaddled and bundled up in slings that she held closely to her breasts as she walked.

"You know, I'm not sure that I want to fulfill any quest you have for me. I am fine all on my own without your gifts."

Aki grumbled under her breath, heading further inland and through the growing thickness of trees and vegetation.

Suddenly a gust of wind near well slapped into her and Aki dug her heels into the dirt, getting pushed back a few inches whilst shielding her beloved daughters Qian and Riu.

She shouted. Her surroundings lit up, identifying everything around her rapidly before settling on the cause of her attack.
