Amanda squinted at the screen in disbelief.

"Really? An hour of swiping left in this app and this is the ad I get? Am I really being mocked by a dating app?"

She rolled her eyes.

"Okay, then." She said to herself, "I wish I was more attractive. Happy?!" Spoke at her phone with belligerence, challenging something to happen. Nothing did.

"Amazing." She tossed her phone aside and went to bed.
