I win the game

Walking out of her place, I felt like a million bucks. Grinning from ear to ear, I drove back home, **** to see what Liz had to say. As the time passed midnight, and we were on day 7, I still had 24 hours left, but it seemed like I would be able to max out my scores now.

As soon as I closed the door behind me, I opened the Seduction Game app.

"Hello, Mike! Liz said.

The hot, virtual game host was wearing a long summer dress and was smiling.

"Hi Liz!" I said, "I'm ready for my points now!"

I sat down on my designer couch, comfortable and stylish, and looked out on the downtown skyline. This felt like a victory.

"Well done!" she said. "You nailed a 10/10!"

"Here are ten points. You don't have to bother distributing them, as all your scores will be maxed out."

I grinned, looking at my scores as they all turned into tens, waiting for me to press "apply".

"Unfortunately, that concludes the game. No more time with me," the hot virtual babe said.

A big message flashed on the screen:

"Fuck, yeah!" I said and pumped my fist in the air.

"So you are probably wondering what's going to happen now?"

"I'm sure. We'll see..." she said. "But here is your award: You will keep most of your upgrades. We are not completely satisfied with your performance with Vanessa, so you will have to remove twenty points from your final score. To make it easy for you, we have removed two from each."

"That sucks!" I said.

Fuck, would I even be able to satisfy Vanessa or other babes if I was just an 8/10 overall?!

Then I realized that this was so much better than becoming the guy I had used to be, just a week before.

"I guess that's fair," I replied, watching my scores drop.

"But hey, could I just make a few adjustments?"

"No, I'm afraid the game is over now," she said and clicked "apply" for me.

I blinked, and saw myself change into a slightly dumber, less cool and charismatic, less hung, more clumsy, and so on, version of Mike Ockisard. My place turned into a smaller, less stylish place. I saw the car keys change logos...

Still, I was in a much better state than before, so I didn't feel too bad.

"There's just one more thing," Liz said.

"OK?"

"You need to pass the game on to someone else now. Do you have anyone in mind?"

"So someone passed it on to me a week ago?"

"Yeah."

"Who?"

"Can't tell you. Maybe if you played your cards even better the next time..."

"Oh, come on!" I said, but she just shrugged.

I wondered who to send the game to next. A geeky mate? A down-on-his luck relative? Or... yeah, that's it.

"I know who I'll give it to," I said.

"Great!" Liz said.

A text entry field popped up. I wrote the name and their profile popped up. I clicked confirm.

"Bye, Mike!" Liz said.

"Bye, and thanks!" I replied.

My phone suddenly rebooted. I sat there, looking at my reflection in the dark phone screen.

My life had turned upside down in a week, thanks to the Seduction Game!
