Chapter 76 by Exarch-of-Sechrima Exarch-of-Sechrima

Poor guy. Nick's had a pretty rough life.

I wanna wake up in the morning with someone new

Dakota woke up to a hand smacking her in the face.

“…Huh.” She stared blearily up at the ceiling, feeling Gina’s foot kicking her in the side.

“Yow! Hey!”

Gina picked herself up off the ground, rubbing her ass. The new cushioning came in handy. “Aargh, my head.”

“I can see why Dawn got fed up sleeping with you,” Dakota said, changing out of her nightclothes. “At least Holly kept her hands to herself. And didn’t sleep cradling a flask.”

“Geez, excuse me,” Gina huffed, taking a swig. “I finally got this puppy back, you know, I’m making use of it!”

Dakota rolled her eyes.

“I’m going down to get breakfast,” she muttered. “You can… I don’t really care what you want to do, frankly.”

“Hey, that’s rude!” Gina scowled, heading over to her dresser to get some clothes. “You could at least wait for me to-”

SMACK

“-Oh!”

Gina flinched, feeling Dakota’s hand slap against her ass. “Whoa. That felt nice. Go again?” She grinned over her shoulder.

Dakota scowled. “I did that because of your transformation. Don’t make it weird.”

With that, she headed for the elevator and off to go get breakfast. What she saw when she got downstairs surprised her.

“…What’s the matter with you?” She asked, staring coldly down at Sylvia, who was curled up on the floor of the banquet hall. Her clothes were a mess and her hair tangled wildly around her. She looked exhausted, and yet still somehow beautiful.

“Dakota…” Sylvia glanced up at the black-haired girl and sighed.

“You look like you slept in a dog kennel,” Dakota said, walking over Sylvia without hesitation. If the blonde cared about her hair getting stepped on, she didn’t show it. “Bad night last night?”

“I went to the bar,” Sylvia groused, sitting up with some effort.

“…Okay?”

And I drank it. Fucking supernatural metabolism, I can’t even get shitfaced. What’s with that, anyway?! Why the hell would my body be made like that?” She took a swig from the bottle of liquor in her hand. Dakota recognized it as the same 96% **** Gina had tried to get her with before.

“Maybe so you could do your damn job without any distractions,” Dakota sneered. She picked Sylvia’s cane up off the ground and twirled it for a moment before flinging it back to the blonde. “You’re an embarrassment, you know that?”

“Gee, thanks for that,” Sylvia sneered right back, taking another slug of spirytus. “That makes me feel so much better about myself.”

She drained the bottle and flung it at the wall. It disappeared from existence before it could smash into a million pieces.

“I’m done with you,” Sylvia grumbled, tapping her cane against the floor and disappearing from existence. Just in time for Gina to walk onto the scene. Her hair was still a mess and her baggy clothes were hanging off her; she looked even sloppier than Sylvia.

“Good morning folks…” Gina yawned. She rubbed her eyes and looked around, seeing that Dakota was the only one there. “…Oh. Never mind. It’s just you.”

“Nice to see you, too,” Dakota replied, rolling her eyes. “I’m really regretting choosing you over Holly right about now.”

Gina shrugged and grabbed a tray, stacking her plate high with glistening bacon.

“Well, ya didn’t, so I get to try out more of this dope ass food,” she cackled.

“That stuff’ll kill you, just saying,” Dakota noted, raising her eyebrow pointedly at Gina’s meal of choice.

“Yeah, well, you’d know, wouldn’t you?” Gina grinned, sticking her tongue out playfully.

“Bonjour my friends!”

Dakota and Gina looked up to see Rose enter the room with a lazy smile on her face. Dawn slinked in behind her with her head down. She looked a little worn out and had bags under her eyes, like she hadn’t gotten much sleep last night.

“Oh, it’s just you two,” Dakota said, turning back to her scrambled eggs.

“Yes, it’s just ‘us two’,” Rose said, rolling her eyes. She sauntered over to the table with a playful grin on her face. “How are you gals feeling today? Settling in nicely?”

She glanced at Gina. “You look dreadful this morning, by the way.”

Gina gave her a toothy smile in return. “Why thank you, I try my best.”

“I like it much better than the blonde. You seem much more fun,” Rose tittered, sitting down beside her. “And you’re a good warding for Dawn.”

Gina glanced warily at her buddy. She didn’t like the way Dawn was looking at her, or the judgmental way she held her hands on her hips.

“…Can I help you?”

“Is that really all you’re eating?” Dawn asked, raising her eyebrow.

Gina looked down at the little meat fortress she’d stacked up on her tray, then turned back to Dawn. “Uh… yeah.”

Dawn shook her head. “Absolutely not. That’s mostly grease and fat, are you serious?” She stormed over to the fruit table, and scooped some chopped cantaloupe and melon into a bowl. “Here. Eat this. It’s healthy for you.”

“What? Ew, no, gross,” Gina said, pushing it away.

“You need to fix your diet!” Dawn insisted. “I’m shocked you don’t have scurvy! How much sleep did you get last night, anyway? You have bags under your eyes.”

“It’s mascara you psycho,” Gina said, scooting away from the shorter woman. She was thoroughly weirded out by Dawn’s attitude. “Besides, you’re one to talk, you look like you were the one up all night!”

“That… that is beside the point!” Dawn exclaimed, her face turning red. “You need to take better care of yourself! You…”

Her voice trailed off when she realized that Rose and Dakota were both staring at her in shock.

“…What?”

“Uh, Dawn, what exactly are you doing?” Rose asked, confused by the cat girl’s actions.

“Why are you mothering her like that?” Dakota could hardly keep the smirk off her face. “I thought you couldn’t stand Gina.”

“Oh?” Gina leaned forward on her elbows and batted her eyelashes curiously. A grin that was more catlike than Dawn curled across her face.

“It’s not like that!” Dawn snapped, turning red. “I never said I hated her or anything!”

“You have actually,” Dakota said.

“Multiple times. To my face even,” Gina shook her head.

“I just got on this show and even I know that,” Rose nodded.

“Well-! That’s because living with her is horrible!” Dawn wailed.

“Hey!” Gina scowled.

“She’s not wrong,” Dakota admitted.

“HEY!” The dark-haired girl couldn’t believe what she was hearing.

Dawn sighed, taking off her glasses and rubbing her face. “Look, it’s not like… okay I don’t… aargh, I can’t explain it! Just… just eat your fruit, okay?! I don’t want you to die!”

Gina opened her mouth and placed her hand over her heart. “Why Dawn, I’m honestly touched.”

“Hilarious,” Dawn grumbled, rolling her eyes.

“Is this your way of saying you wish you were still my buddy?”

“No, God no, never.” Dawn shivered at the thought of still living with Gina.

“I think I get what this is,” Rose said, grinning. “You may have hated living with Gina, but you still care about her, don’t you? And now that she’s left to her own devices, the thought that she won’t be able to take care of herself has you all worried and anxious! Aww, if that isn’t the most adorable thing I’ve ever heard!”

Dawn leveled an icy stare at the blonde.

“I should have picked Holly over you,” she growled.

“That sentiment seems to be going around a lot today,” Dakota chimed in, cleaning the rest of the eggs off her plate.

“Ah, Dakota, too bad,” Gina grinned, pulling out her flask and taking a swig. “You’re still stuck with me for another week!”

Dawn’s jaw dropped.

“Is that a flask!? You’re drinking liquor at six in the morning?!”

Gina gave her a look that could best be summarized as an emoji that means “well, duh”.

“What do you want me to drink? Wine?”

“Milk! Or water!” Dawn exclaimed. “This place has juice of literally every fruit known to man, including tomatoes!”

“I think those are a vegetable actually,” Gina piped up.

“Nah she’s right, they’re a fruit,” Rose informed her.

“You’re from France, who cares?” Gina rolled her eyes. “They probably think, like, that cheese is a vegetable or something.”

Dakota choked on her toast, unable to believe her ears. She fumbled for a glass of water to wash it down, only to remember that she’d chosen against getting anything to drink today thanks to her transformation.

“Put the flask away,” Dawn insisted. “Did you remember to put your patch on when you woke up this morning?”

“God, you sound just like my mother.”

“Gina!”

“I’m thirsty!” Gina protested, taking another sip. “I’ve had an itch in my throat for days, you know!? And no matter how much I drink, it only gets worse!”

“Maybe you should drink something that won’t dehydrate you,” Dakota offered, rolling her eyes. “You know. Like fucking water.”

“Or milk,” Dawn insisted. “Come on, put that away and let’s get you some milk.”

“Ugh, come on!” Gina protested. But she did put her flask back in her pocket. “...Can I at least get chocolate milk?”

“Do you think you’ve earned chocolate milk?” Dawn asked, escorting Gina over to the drink dispenser.

“Yeah!”

“Gina…”

Gina sighed in resignation. “…No…”

Rose watched Dawn drag Gina away with a bemused expression on her face.

“Those two are really something, huh?” She tittered, leaning back in her seat and turning to Dakota. “It feels like all they needed to start getting along was to no longer be living in the same room together.”

Dakota raised her eyebrow. “You consider that getting along?”

“Gina’s breathing, isn’t she? As far as Dawn’s concerned that’s progress.”

“Fair point. So what about you?”

“Hmm?” Rose batted her eyelashes innocently, her grin not leaving her face.

“Why are you talking to me?” Dakota asked, narrowing her eyes. “Judging by your good mood, I’m guessing you’re planning to rub in the fact that you’re going to be sleeping with Nick tonight?”

“Oh, is that why you’re so grumpy?” Rose tittered, spreading some syrup onto her French toast. “No, don’t worry. Nick and I don’t have that sort of relationship yet. I’m not planning to sleep with him tonight.”

Dakota scowled. “But you are planning to sleep with him at some point?”

Rose coughed up a chunk of bread. “What?! NO! Why-Why would you say that?!”

“…Because you basically implied it?” Dakota sighed, rubbing her forehead. “You don’t have that sort of relationship ‘yet’? Look, Rose, I know you’re in kind of a weird space given the way you came onto the show, and joined the harem, but I just want to let you know that if you have sex with Nick just to get ahead-”

“Whoa, whoa, whoa, stopping you right there, Debbie Drowner,” Rose said, holding up her hand. “Nick and I, having sex? Not gonna happen. Ever.”

“Really. So you aren’t attracted to him at all?” Dakota stared coolly at Rose, not buying her bluster for a moment.

Rose met her gaze, which was surprising. Dawn probably would have looked away after making a declaration like that. But then, Rose was a much better actress.

“Even though he’s such a nice guy?”

“Well, yeah, he is a nice guy,” Rose agreed, chuckling. “But there’s a method to this, you know? I’m not going to just throw myself at him, I have to get to know him better before we- err… that is…”

She coughed a bit, and her smile returned.

“Anyway, you have nothing to worry about, bang him with all my blessing,” Rose said, waving her hand.

“I don’t need your blessing,” Dakota scowled.

Rose shrugged. “Maybe not. But tonight is still my night with him.”

“…Well, fine,” Dakota said, rising from her seat and picking up her tray. Shadows of frustration crossed her face. “Enjoy yourself.”

She turned to go put her dishes away, only for Rose to grab her by the arm.

“I’m actually glad I ran into both of you this early,” the blonde said. The teasing smile she wore had changed into a more conspiratorial one. “I wanted to talk about something important with you.”

Dakota raised her eyebrow. The way she’d said that caught her attention. “…I’m listening.”

Nick dreamed that he was drowning. He was floundering around in a big pile of jell-o, and no matter how hard he swam, he just couldn’t manage to pull himself out of it. Everywhere he saw he could only see fruit suspended in the muck around him. He tried to call for help, but the stuff flooded into his mouth before he could. And it definitely wasn’t cherry flavored.

“Blegh! Aaghghk!” Nick woke up coughing and ****. It took a moment to realize that his dream hadn’t been a dream at all.

His bed was flooded with white slime.

“M-Mimi!” He sputtered, pulling himself up out of the muck as best as he could. Just like in his dream, he couldn’t get a firm grip on anything because the surface of the bed was covered in a thin layer of slippery white good. He slipped and slid on the sheets, but the substance was covering him and it was far stickier than he could free himself from.

Nick managed to turn his head, and saw that Mimi was half-melted, practically glued to the bed. Her arms had liquefied and were wrapped tightly around Holly, practically engulfing the helpless woman.

Holly slept like a baby with a blissful smile on her face. Nick shook his head incredulously.

“Mimi, wake up,” Nick urged her. He struggled to touch her, only to realize that he was already touching her. All over.

The slime girl’s eyes creaked open and she blinked, taking stock of the situation.

“…I seem to have reverted to my old body in my sleep.”

Nick resisted the urge to scream “yeah, you think?!”

After all, she couldn’t control what happened to her.

Slowly, the slime covering the bed receded as Mimi reformed herself, and once her body returned to a shape that was vaguely human her gooey body turned back into skin. She still held tightly onto Holly though, as if she were afraid the small woman would disappear if she let go.

“Mimi, are you okay?” Nick asked cautiously, seeing the frustrated look in her eyes.

“I didn’t mean to do that,” Mimi mumbled, staring down at the sheets. Due to the nature of her slime, nothing was actually that wet. Even Nick’s body felt oddly dry and clean, as if she’d absorbed everything into her. But she still looked upset with herself.

“It’s fine.”

Holly, of all people, was the voice of comfort. She yawned, turning in Mimi’s arms to look that pale girl in the eye.

“Everyone does it,” she assured Mimi with a smile. “Once upon a time, I couldn’t go a day without soaking my bed in body fluids. It’s normal.”

“Really?” Mimi asked, relaxing.

Nick flicked Holly in the back of the head.

“Don’t confuse her,” he chastised. “Mimi, nothing about this woman is normal.”

“Understood,” Mimi nodded.

“Oh, master!” Holly swooned, squirming in the slime girl’s grasp. “You don’t know how good it feels to hear you say something like that!”

Nick rolled his eyes and sighed, climbing out of bed.

“I’m going to go get changed,” he said, heading for the bathroom.

“Would you like me to help you, master?” Holly asked, trying to get out of bed as well. But Mimi held her down tightly.

“No,” she said insistently. “Cuddles.”

“Yeah,” Nick called from the bathroom. “What she said.”

Holly was his sex **** and would do whatever he wanted, but he didn’t feel comfortable actually ordering her around. If she was going to try and sneak into the bathroom while he was changing, though, he’d have to do something about that.

I should come up with a list of rules, he decided. Something for her to follow. She’d like that. Me taking control.

If felt weird to think about Holly in that regard. Once upon a time he’d been in love with her, and wanted a serious relationship. Then he hated her. Then his feelings somewhat rebounded back towards “love” after getting to know her again.

Now she was in a skimpy maid costume waiting on his every word, just dying to see him have sex with other women.

Whatever path he’d thought his life would take, this certainly wasn’t it.

He finished changing and stepped out of the bathroom, looking pretty nice. He’d shaved and worn a button-up shirt, and even brushed his hair in a way that concealed the grayness creeping in on his temples. While he wasn’t going to win any modeling gigs, he didn’t look that unappealing.

Nick had decided to go all-out today. After all, his date tonight was with a movie star, and he didn’t want to disappoint her.

When he came out of the bathroom, Holly was still tight in Mimi’s grasp.

“Come on Mimi, we should go,” Nick said. She reluctantly pulled herself off Holly and put her clothes back on, staring up at him with a look that almost seemed excited.

“You don’t want breakfast?” Holly asked. “I can make you something you know! Whatever you like!”

Mimi glanced at Nick, and he thought he saw her start to drool. But maybe that was just the normal sheen of her slime-covered lips.

He shook his head. “We should probably go down to the banquet hall, actually,” he suggested. “It’s important for you to socialize, don’t you think? You’ll be able to interact with the other girls and increase your knowledge.”

He remembered the promise he’d made with Sylvia last night. Or maybe it was in a dream. He couldn’t really know for sure. But he’d promised her that he’d take good care of Mimi, and he intended to keep that promise.

“Will there be food?” Mimi asked, and her eyes seemed to flash.

“Yes,” he assured her. “There will be plenty of food.”

Then he turned to Holly. “Say, uh… do you want to come with us?”

Holly blinked. “To the dining hall? Really? I can go?”

“I don’t see why not,” Nick shrugged. “Just because you’re my… um, ****, that doesn’t mean you have to stay here all day.”

It still felt strange using the “S” word. But Holly was happy to hear it.

“Of course, master!” She nodded excitedly.

“Um, please, just call me ‘Nick’,” he pleaded. He knew that Holly probably got off on the whole “master/****” thing, but honestly? He would prefer to spend time with the cute little cherub he knew and loved in school.

Holly seemed disappointed, but as much as she wanted to call him master, following his orders meant more to her. She nodded.

“Okay, Nick. …Wow, that’s weird. It feels like it’s been ages since I called you that!” She snorted.

Nick rolled his eyes. “It was yesterday.”

“…So it was.”

“Should we go, then?” He asked his two girls.

Mimi nodded, hovering in the doorway. She looked ready to pry the elevator open and go down herself.

“Absolutely, mas- Nick!” Holly said, saluting him obediently. Her blush deepened. “And, um… actually… can I ask a favor? If I may be so presumptuous, of course.”

“Yeah?” The way she refused to look him in the eye gave him a bad feeling.

“Could you please… take me by my leash?” She asked, panting in excitement.

Nick sighed. But the yearning look in his eye made him feel bad. He nodded reluctantly and grabbed the end of Holly’s chain, gently leading her into the elevator.

Holly was practically creaming in her chastity belt by the time they got to the banquet hall. Everyone stared in shock. Mary seemed scandalized.

“H-Holly?!” She exclaimed, falling back in her chair. Her face turned red.

“Mary!” Holly, in contrast, lit up with joy at seeing her friend. She wanted to run over and give Mary a hug, but she knew her place. Her eyes glanced from Nick to Mary and back again several times, and he didn’t need another hint to realize what she wanted.

“Yeah, if you want to go talk to her, you can,” he said, letting go of her chain. “Just because you call yourself my **** doesn’t mean you don’t have any freedom.”

“The only freedom I have is what you give me,” Holly informed him with a smile. She skipped over to Mary and pulled the taller girl into a bear hug that left the flustered redhead shellshocked. But eventually Mary calmed back down and hugged Holly back, a shaky smile spreading across her face.

“Aww, aren’t they sweet together?”

Nick turned to the table and saw Rose. She was sitting next to Dakota. Both women had conspiratorial smiles on their faces.

I have a bad feeling about this

I think we all do.
