Well, not only is that unbecoming of the queen and the prince to bicker in front of their soldiers. I know also that they may love each other, they also are more than able to hurt one another in anger. Some words can cut deeper than a sword and wounds made by a loved one are always more painful than others.

I gather an inkling of the power bestowed upon me by the Lady in my hand and let it disperse.

At once a flash of bright light fills the clearing, momentarily blinding everyone before dispersing, and the two siblings stop arguing to turn to me, apparently surprised by my liberal use of a miracle. They know that I don't like to flaunt my powers. What they don't know is that I am even more annoyed at this waste of Holy Light considering that I have been gathering as much as I could lately for what's awaiting us in the coming days. Still, I have their attention, better say something before they start crossing words again.

"Your Majesty. I really need to speak about some important matters with you. Should we get going?"

She sighs. In my peripheral vision I see that Aidan has calmed down and looks a bit ashamed. Poor boy. He'll blame himself for this scene despite clearly not really being in the wrong.

"Sure, but I need to change, and shower. Also we could ride couldn't we? I hate being confined in a coach."

"Well, go and get presentable then. But I insist that you ride in the coach with me, at least when we leave. You know that I never learned how to ride a horse and I don't believe that today is the right time to start."

I mostly want to make sure that we can talk discreettly, but if she can't guess it, I am not about to say it here.

"Fine. Get everything ready and I'll be here in a few minutes."

She gets to her luggages, takes some clothes out of it, and goes back into the inn, letting us to wait for her some more.
