Chapter 3 by Deskferret Deskferret

Which way should I go?

I think the village is the best way to go.

"Yep definitely going to go with the village. Something tells me the mansion would turn me away. Probably owned by some rich snob." I started down the path.

I had been walking for a bit, when some rustling in the nearby bushes got my attention. I quickly shifted to see what was there. What I saw was a pair of large chocolate brown bunny ears poke up from one of the bushes. I dropped my guard suddenly somewhat confused.

A bunny girl with caramel colored skin popped up out of the bushes.

"Oh hi there! Excuse me, did you miss the boat?" She asked me. I looked her up and down in confusion. She was a young woman, with B-cup breasts, a thin athletic build, and a curvy hips with thick toned thighs. She had messy black hair that came down to her chin, and was wearing a white halter top, and black spandex shorts. But the strangest thing of all was she was wearing sneakers.

"Excuse me, are you okay?" She asked, her voice was bright and bubbly. I blinked suddenly realizing that she was talking to me. I quickly had to think about what she had said to me. Then I had to come up with a convincing lie.

"Oh no, I wasn't part of some boat! I was on a fishing raft, and I got caught in a storm! Then I woke up on the beach..." I quickly blurted out, hoping she wouldn't see right through me.

"Oh yeah, that was a really bad storm last night, wasn't it. Well, good to see that you're not seriously hurt or anything. Anyway my name is Yoko. You are okay right? Like I don't need to rush you to the Village cuz you're internally bleeding or something?" She suddenly started panicking.

"No no, I'm perfectly fine. My little fishing boat was just lost at sea. I'm so sorry, but I don't have anything to me, other than the clothes on my back." I started to apologize to her. "Oh right, my name is Mina. Nice to meet you Yoko. So where exactly am I?"

"Oh you're on Golden Bunny island. We're a small Resort Village that people come to for our Hot Springs. Unfortunately the last boat left yesterday morning before the storm hit, but we thought everybody had left. That's why I was confused by your presence. See tour boats only come here once a week, and we're closed this week for administrative purposes." Yoko explained.

"So you guys have Administration?"

"Yeah why wouldn't we, after all we're running a business here, actually we're running several businesses. Like hotel rooms, bars and restaurants, several different leisure activities, and of course our world famous spas." Yoko answered cheerfully yet matter of factly. As it was some kind of a line she had rehearsed over and over again.

"So what's the deal with the mansion back that way?" I asked pointing over my shoulder.

"Yeah, some rich recluse woman lives in that place. She bought a whole bunch of land like 20 years ago, had the place built, and never came out. All of her stuff gets delivered, and it's picked up at the front Gates by her servants." Yoko was all too happy to answer my question. "So Mina, why don't you follow me back to the Village, and we can figure out how to help you.

"Oh that'd be great!" I replied. "like I said all I have are these clothes. I wasn't even sure if anybody was on this island, or what I was going to do for food, or a roof over my head?"

"Don't worry about that Mina. Everybody in the village is really nice and helpful. I'm sure we can figure out something. Especially after we talk to Big Mama." Yoko continued with a happy tone to her voice.

"Big mama?" I continued to ask questions in sheer confusion.

"It's just her nickname. She's basically the mayor/boss of the whole island. Oh, but don't worry she's not mean, or anything." Yoco frantically tried explaining herself. It made me chuckle out loud.

"You can chill out Yoko. I'm just asking questions because I don't really know where I'm at or anything abouttyour home." I explained myself.

"I just didn't want you to get the wrong idea about us I mean a lot of us are really really nice. We're always willing to be helpful. And it's interesting to see an Oni girl." She quickly blurted out.

"Oni girl?" This question caused Yoko to stop, and look at me.

"Yeah, that what you are..." She started to look at me suspiciously.

"Oh no no no! It's just I came from a village of Oni, and this was my first trip into the world. I quickly smiled surprised by how fast I came up with a lie.

"Wow, you're going on a adventure all by yourself to see the world. That's so cool!" She beamed at me her fists clasped together, and her cute little Cottontail wiggling. "I always wanted to go see the world. Rather than spending my whole life on this island."

"So you're like me, you spent your whole life just living here." I felt a little sad for this girl I just met. We continued to walk down the path for about a good 20 minutes, before it started to clear out into a small fantasy Village. The place looked like it came straight out of an old RPG, or some anime. Wooden houses, thatched roofs, and cobblestone streets.

The entire Village was filled with nothing but bunny girls. They came in all shapes sizes, different fur color on their ears and Tails, a variety of skin tone complexions. And the overwhelming majority of them were half naked. So many of them running around in skimpy bikinis, light Breezy sundresses that came down exposing cleavage on some of the more busty girls, short skirts halter tops short shorts.

It made sense, it was a tropical island, and I shouldn't have felt too out of place. After all I was wearing nothing but a halter top, and a loin cloth myself. No, the thing that did make me nervous, was that once Yoko and I had come out of the tree line, pretty much everyone stopped, and turned to look at me. I really was nervous about being the center of attention.

A very gorgeous bunny girl in a pale green sundress and sandals ran up first. She had long pale pink hair and her ear and tail fur color was white. I think that I noticed most though was, one she wasn't wearing a bra, and two she had double D cup breasts.

"Yoko what's going on, who is this?" She asked timidly with a quiet but cute voice.

"This is Mina, she got lost at sea last night. Then washed up on the shore." Yoko explained for me.

"Uhm, Hi everyone..." I nervously waved.

"Oh, you poor thing!" The pink haired bunny girl squeaked. "Are you hurt, do you need some orange juice and protein?! No broken bones, scurvy?" She started grabbing at me and lifting up my arms. Making sure that they weren't broken, or that I had any large gashes on me.

"No, I'm perfectly fine." I tried to tell the soft-spoken woman.

"She's fine Serenity." Yoko told the large breasted bunny. "I'm just happy she washed up on our Shores. After all Mina, we're the only Island around for miles.

"The closest port town is a 3-day Boat Trip, and that's on larger ships. Did you fall off of one of those ships?" Serenity asked in that same cute, soft voice.

"No, I just went out to see on a small boat myself, but the storm destroyed it." I answered

"Yeah she came from a small village of Onis, and was out exploring the world. Yoko explained to the large Gathering, all accepted these answers in unison.

"So you got lost at sea?" Came a voice from the back of the crowd. The crowd parted as if by Magic. I was staring straight at an older Bunny woman.

If I had to guess I'd say she was in her early 40s, but was still very attractive despite a few signs of aging. She was also the only one I saw wearing a business suit and heels, complete with tie, blazer, pencil skirt. She had long blonde hair tied up into a bun, pale skin, and brown fur around her ears and tail. The same color brown as Yoko's. She had a pair of small rectangular red framed glasses that were balancing delicately on the end of her nose.

"I was just doing some paperwork, when I noticed everyone started to run off. So I had to see what the commotion was myself. Nice to meet you, my name is Ophelia." Her heels clicked on the cobblestone street as she approached, and extended her hand out daintily to shake mine.

"Nice to meet you Miss Ophelia, I'm glad everyone's so welcoming." I replied slightly nervous.

"Don't worry about it. We here on Golden Bunny Island do make our living through tourists. But most of us here are always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need."

"Well that's good cuz I'm kind of lost, and I don't have any money, or really anything anymore." I explained.

"It's perfectly fine. Like I said we always help out those in need. And it doesn't hurt that you're a follower of Riesa." Ophelia explained to me.

"Wait you know Riesa?" I asked.

"Well of course, we are funny girls. And... well, you know what they say about bunnies."

"They poop everywhere." I replied. Ophelia chuckled lightly into her hand.

"Yes, bunny girls tend to be followers of Riesa. Unfortunately though we don't have a full Temple to her. If you would like to pray, we just a couple of statues on the island." Ophelia informed me. "As for helping you out, was there somewhere you were planning to head in particular, because if so the next boat won't be here for another week. This is our down time. But we could help you with that. Because when the boat comes you can always get a ride on it back to Port. And the cost is only $30 moolah. And we can help you with earning money."

"Oh wow, really?" I asked excitedly.

"Yes, there's plenty of work to be done around the island this week. I'm sure we could set you up with some of the girls to help out." Ophelia answer me.

"Hey that's great!" Yoko chimed in. "Mina, you could help me with clearing the walking trails."

"Well... I feel like she does need a little bit of rest." Serenity answered sheepishly. "And she could always help me out at the medical center. Maybe what she needs is some more low impact work."

"You can always help me pick up trash." A bunny girl in the crowd shouted.

"Or help us down at the surf shop, wax boards." Chimed in a pair of twins.

"She can help me too." Came another voice.

I was getting offered jobs left and right. A little nervous and overwhelmed that all of these girls wanted to help me.

"Well, I also have some paperwork at my office. If you would like to be my secretary for a little bit." Ophelia added.

"Wow, looks like I've got a lot of options." I chuckled nervously.

What kind of job did I want to do?
