Chapter 8 by ElizaLariana ElizaLariana

How should I fill in the rest of the story and what is Aaron's reaction?

I fill in with truth and my uncle plays along as if he is still oblivious.

"Rachel. She had a graduation party too, but it wasn't filled with guests like mine. So, she was kind of jealous of my party. Apparently she's had a crush on me since freshman year and I was kind enough to show her the tour of the house. She was kind enough to start making out after she closed the door behind us," I explain, laying out the true reason Rachel and I were alone in my room. I kind of get lost in my honesty that I appear comfortable telling nothing but the truth.

Aaron takes my explanation in stride. "I had a hot date with me to your party and since I didn't know my way around, we snuck upstairs for some privacy. Rachel was so startled by me barging in," Aaron added. His next sentences come as he leans against the counter of the island where the kitchen sink is installed. "My date left early. Probably felt like most of the guests were too young or too drunk to be considered good company. Rachel told me that when I left to give you two some privacy, she felt the party wasn't the best place to make out. She also told me that your session did not go past kissing."

I remember that with the stealth broken by my Uncle Aaron's intrusion, Rachel felt that going past kissing would only put shame on the both of us, if we got caught. I didn't have a lock on my door either. We decided to try next time, in a different setting. Though I'm curious as to why Aaron knows about this tidbit of information.

Nonchalantly, Uncle Aaron adds, "She found me later on, already alone. After some conversation and finding that you did not want to make her time worse by getting caught again, I invited her to a hotel nearby and she showed me everything she wanted to do to her crush." I had looked away to hide a growing frustration after hearing the truth of why Rachel had stopped being my friend after the party. I had thought it was something I said or did or didn't do, but now I know there was something more, and Uncle Aaron had a hand in it. "Such a fascinating scene if it were real, though your response has made it real, Charles." He pulled my face back around to face him. "You're a really good actress, Charlene. You've got talent."

"Are we done with this roleplay?" I ask, my emotion from before gone from my features. Even though our dialogue was filled with truth, I'm convinced it was just a good show for him. He doesn't seem to have figured out a ruse.

Do we continue?
