Chapter 11 by Gatsha Gatsha

Is there any way forward?

I can move the story forward! (Pink Trigger's Power >2499)

I had the capability to move the story forward. I simply had to write it. To write it, I'd have to bend my erotica to give me the answers I sought... but it'd have to be erotica. If it wasn't, by the rules of my contract with the witch, I'd probably never move forward... or else, I'd meet a quick end.

I told Zepar and Furfur I knew they loved speaking in riddles. I'd like to challenge them to a game and unwind some of those riddles... to lay the truth bare, so to speak.

"Riddles?" Zepar parroted me, pirouetting in place and raising one arm to the ceiling. "Every word we speak is a hint guiding you towards love, Mister Player!"

"Aren't you the one speaking in riddles, Mister Player?" Zepar asked, pirouetting and giving me a cheeky grin. "How are we to interpret your most mysterious challenge?!"

I could tell that demon was making fun of me, but I wouldn't get riled up or lose focus this time. I told them we were going to get to the bottom of certain mysteries. They would ask me questions, and for each one I got correct, they'd remove a piece of their clothing, until they had nothing left. Their questions would relate to the Miracle of Love they claimed I couldn't be granted. I was prepared to throw around my authority as their summoner to have this granted, but the two of them immediately agreed. They wrapped their arms around each other's shoulders, nodding in time.

"Very well, Mister Player! To challenge a demon to a contest of knowledge takes bravery!" Zepar's grin looked a little cocky as he/she spoke those arrogant words.

"You are aware of the price for a demon's knowledge?" Furfur asked, looking only a little bit serious. "Your soul is at stake!"

I told them I did, but I was playing my cards close to my chest. In truth, this was no game of skill, or even of luck. It was simply a test of perseverance. With the power of my Pink Trigger, I could return any time I chose a wrong answer. Knowing that, I was prepared to take the long fall to the hot place as many times as it took. I didn't tell them any of that; instead, I simply adjusted my tie. As if anyone was paying attention to how I looked right now.

"Very well. I'll begin with an easy one," Zepar declared, watching with pitying, expectant eyes. Clearly, the demon was looking forward to seeing me dragged to hell on the first wrong answer. "This is a question of great interest to you too, of course! Mister Player, between Furfur and I, which of us is a woman?!"

Which of them is a woman?!
