Zepar and Furfur grinned at my response, which meant nothing. They were always grinning at everything, it seemed.

"Is Mister Player correct?" Furfur asked, holding a palm-up hand towards Zepar as if to call attention to him/her.

"What matters is if Mister Player knows he is correct!" Zepar declared. "And to this, I say..."

"No!" the two declared together as they crossed their arms above their heads.

"Mister Player, a wish is a powerful form of magic, but this game show isn't about making wishes, correct?" Zepar taunted me. "This challenge of yours is about actual, concrete facts! Can you make your statement in the red text? That level of certainty will certainly bring about a miracle!"

I...

I couldn't, of course. There was nothing in the story of the Golden Witch that definitively proved Zepar was the female in this pair.
