Chapter 576

Exarch-of-Sechrima
This is going to be emotionally draining
I bet it's hard to live with, knowing that you'll never be this fine
Nick had no qualms about going to the Amusement Park for his date with both Dawns. He’d had a lot of fun on his last day out there.
His bigger concern was the fact that the two cat girls couldn’t stop sniping at each other.
“I’m looking forward to going on all the rides, Auburn. Aren’t you?”
“Of course I am. Why wouldn’t I be?”
“You like fun? That’s a relief. Maybe we aren’t so different after all…”
“Of course I can enjoy myself, you know!”
…Like that.
Nick sighed. “Girls, can we please just have a good time?” He pleaded with them. “That’s all I’m looking for. Just a good day out with the two of you.”
“I’m trying to have a good time!” Bianca complained. “Aren’t you, Auburn?”
“Of course I am,” Auburn said in a snippy tone. She looked uncomfortable though, like she wasn’t sure how to react to what she was saying. Almost like she was getting put on the defensive by her loose-haired counterpart.
“Hey, Auburn, it’s fine,” Nick said, placing his hand on her shoulder. She looked up at him with wide eyes, and blushed.
Bianca pouted and crossed her hands over her chest.
“Aren’t you going to comfort me, too?” She demanded, rubbing her head insistently against him like a spoiled cat. Which was a pretty apt comparison with her most recent transformations. She practically humped up against him, and he was **** to pull away.
Keeping her at a distance, Nick regarded her with a calm smile. “It’s okay,” he assured Bianca. “I’ll make sure to give you plenty of affection as well.” There was no sense in beating around the bush- he was forward with his care towards both girls.
Bianca’s face lit up, and a small blush pinkened her cheeks. “Okay! Yes, that would be just perfect! Don’t you agree, Auburn?”
“Yeah, definitely,” Auburn nodded, smiling slightly.
For once, both girls were on the same page.
Not about to lose this opportunity, Nick led the girls to the Amusement Park gates.
When he saw who was at the ticket counter, he froze.
“Nick! Good morning!” Nola waved at him cheerfully. “Are you here for a date with Dawn? That’s great! Going on a date with a wonderful girl, looking at this beautiful place, experimenting, having fun, wandering around, it’s such a great date for two people! Or maybe… wait, what?!”
Nola’s rambling train of thought was tragically derailed in a violent crash as she laid eyes on not one, but two Dawns. Both Auburn and Bianca stiffened as their biggest concern had been made manifest- while running into Nola wasn’t the same as running into a member of Nick’s harem, it was still mortifying, and the girls didn’t know how to react.
Nola wasn’t sure how to react either. Her head was looking back and forth between the two of them, like she was watching an intense tennis match. Her eyes spun in her head as she tried to make sense of it.
“H-how!?”
“You don’t know?” Nick was genuinely surprised. But he pushed through that, and didn’t wait for her to respond. Clearly Dakota hadn’t informed her of the situation when she had Nola take up the post, and now the girl was frightfully confused.
“…Well, we’re going inside,” he said, taking a cat girl’s hand in each of his, and leading them through the gates before Nola could recover.
The leprechaun shook her head, coming back to her senses. No point in getting twisted up over what was obviously the result of some transformation. “Have fun on your date, Nick!” She called after the three of them. “And Dawn! And other Dawn!”
The Amusement Park was as festive as the trio remembered, even if it was empty. There was a sense of liveliness in the place regardless, and the distant sight of faeries fluttering through the sky could be seen in trails of color hanging in the air. It led to a very mystical air.
“What do you girls want to do next?” Nick asked. He hoped this would be good for the two of them- after all, they were the same person, so they would likely pick the same rides, wouldn’t they? It made sense to-
“I want to go the Hall of Mirrors!” Bianca declared.
Auburn recoiled in shock, and Nick’s reaction wasn’t much better.
“The Hall of Mirrors!? You can’t be serious!” Auburn exclaimed, shaking her head frantically and looking up at Nick. Her eyes were wide. “Nick, I swear, this isn’t my way of thinking,” she promised. “I don’t know where this is coming from! I don’t want anything to do with the Hall of Mirrors!”
“Don’t lie!” Bianca snapped, puffing up her cheeks. “You’re just as curious about it as I am, you know! But you just don’t want to say it!”
Nick looked at both Dawns, not sure what to think. “Listen, you guys, I don’t get it,” he said, shaking his head. “But we had an agreement, remember?” He reminded both of them. “We’re not going to experiment with the Hall of Mirrors anymore.”
Bianca looked disappointed, but begrudgingly nodded. Auburn relaxed a hair, but Nick could see the faintest look of disappointment herself hidden in her relieved expression.
Maybe Bianca’s accusation had hit a little close to home, and Auburn actually was curious about the Hall of Mirrors, in spite of her understanding that it was a bad idea.
“…Don’t get me wrong, I understand why you guys might be tempted by the Hall of Mirrors,” Nick explained.
Bianca’s eyes lit up, and Auburn tensed again.
“No, I-”
“Shut up, Auburn, not the time,” Bianca said, gently elbowing Auburn in the side. She looked at Nick with shiny eyes, her ears twitching and her tail flicking around in excitement. She just loved hearing what Nick had to say.
“You’re a curious person,” Nick said, feeling a little weird to be telling a girl about herself. “It’s because of that genius brain of yours, right?”
Both girls nodded without hesitation.
“So I think, on some level, you both want to check out the Hall of Mirrors again to experiment with the possible transformations and what they can do, positive and negative, isn’t that right?” He asked.
Bianca nodded again. But this time, Auburn was hesitant. In the end though, she still nodded.
“I… I just think it’s more important to resist,” Auburn said gently. “Even though I’m curious, I know how dangerous it is. So we can’t do it. Come on, Bianca, I know you’re interested. But you have to acknowledge the danger, right?”
Bianca looked hesitant for once now. But she nodded as well. “You’re right,” she agreed.
“So we’re in agreement now?” Nick asked, just to check. “No Hall of Mirrors, is that right?”
“Yeah, I guess Auburn’s right, buzzkill,” Bianca sighed. “It’s too dangerous to experiment with it… especially with our current transformations.”
She held up her hand and turned to Auburn, almost as though she was actually looking into a mirror. “If one of us gets transformed, what would happen to the other one? It’s definitely something that intrigues my genius.”
Auburn couldn’t help but nod. She had the same curious, inquisitive mind as the girl in front of her, that was true. But she was hesitant to be so open about it.
Bianca had another fun idea though.
“I’m hungry!” She decided. “I didn’t get breakfast this morning!”
“Oh, uh… you’re right,” Nick said, blushing in shame. He’d enjoyed a nice breakfast with Vivian that morning, but Dawn hadn’t had anything.
And now she was eating for two, in a manner of speaking. And it wasn’t like they could duck into the Banquet Hall to get something, with the other girls there. Unfortunately.
“I’m not sure if this is the best idea,” Auburn mentioned, “but Amusement Parks do tend to have food stands. I remember we ate food the last time we were here.”
“It’s all so greasy and fattening, though,” Nick pointed out. “Are you sure that’s the best thing we could be getting? What if you throw up on all the rides?”
“It’ll be fine, don’t be such a worrywart!” Bianca laughed, slapping him on the back. “If even Auburn is willing to get food here, what’s the big problem? That’s the sort of thing we can do!”
“It’s a conspiracy,” Auburn guessed, adjusting her glasses. “By feeding the guests heavy, greasy food, and then everyone going on the roller-coasters and stuff, they’re going to throw up. Then they’ll be hungry again and spend more food.”
“Okay, I think that’s a little too paranoid, even coming from me,” Bianca sniggered, shaking her head. “Come on, you’re making me sound crazy!”
“It was just a thought!” Auburn’s cheeks pinkened.
“I gotta side with Bianca on this one,” Nick admitted. “No way are they intentionally trying to get people to throw up. You know they would have to clean up those messes if that happens, right?”
Auburn blushed even deeper. “Okay, you’re right,” she admitted sheepishly. “But you explain the bad food at those places.”
“It’s cheap and easy,” Bianca said bluntly. “Not everything needs to be a conspiracy.”
Well… Auburn could acknowledge that.
“We still haven’t decided what we’re going to get to eat,” Nick pointed out. “This is nice and all, but…”
“I know!” Bianca’s hand shot up into the air like a teacher’s pet in class. “How about we go get some candy!?”
“Candy?!” Auburn sputtered. “Are you nuts? Candy for breakfast!? Of all the irresponsible-!”
“Come on, Auburn! You’re being such a Dawn right now!” Bianca groaned, rolling her eyes in frustration. “I know you want to eat candy!”
Auburn frowned. She wasn’t sure. “Okay, but we also need to get something substantial,” she said firmly. “Otherwise, well…”
She looked over at Nick, practically pleading with him with her eyes to say something. But he wasn’t on the same page as her.
He shrugged. “Look, Auburn, I don’t see it as that big of a deal, frankly,” he admitted, shaking his head. “It’s okay to have a treat every now and then, don’t you think?”
Auburn bit her lip. It was two against one, and one of the votes was Nick so in her mind the other vote didn’t really matter. She didn’t want to be a wet blanket thrown over the date, so she begrudgingly nodded. “Okay… sure.”
“Wait, hey!” Bianca frowned. “Are you just agreeing because of pressure? Don’t do that! Agree because it’s what you want to do!”
“But it’s not what I want to do,” Auburn bluntly replied. “I want to get a reasonable, sensible breakfast to start the day-”
“Candy candy candy!” Bianca puffed up her cheeks and pouted like a child. She looked about ready to throw a tantrum, frankly.
“Okay, now you’re going a little overboard here,” Nick said, frowning. “Auburn, I know you want to get a sensible breakfast, so let’s split the difference. How about Bianca gets candy, and then we can get something else to eat for you, don’t you think?”
Auburn nodded hesitantly. “Okay… if that’s what you want,” she relented, looking warily over at Bianca. The other Dawn was beaming from ear to ear.
“Now let’s go! Candy time!” Bianca chirped, throwing her hands into the air. She dashed off towards the candy shop, leaving Nick and Auburn in the dust.
“…She’s gonna be a real handful, isn’t she?” Auburn sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. She shook her head.
“You know she’s you, right?” Nick pointed out. Now that the two of them were on the same level here, without Bianca to interrupt, the two of them could have a real discussion between them. “She’s just doing the kinds of things that she wants to do. And you don’t think those things… might be things that you’d want to do, too?”
Auburn bit her lip. “She’s just being irresponsible,” she muttered, storming off after Bianca.
Nick didn’t let her get away that easily. “Is that really so bad?” He asked.
“Of course it is!” Auburn groaned. “She can’t just be irresponsible! She needs to be an adult! I need to be an adult, I mean! Because… because I have to be!”
“We’re having fun on the date,” Nick said. “And Bianca, she’s trying to do that.”
“But I can be fun too!” Auburn said desperately. “I can! Please? I’ll show you, I can be fun! I just need to have fun responsibly!”
Nick thought that might have been a little backwards. But he wanted to be patient with Auburn right now.
Auburn bit her lip. “Okay… listen,” she said, shaking her head. “Bianca’s just being a spoiled brat!”
“Which means part of you wants to be a spoiled brat,” Nick pointed out bluntly.
Her ears twitched and her tail drooped down. There wasn’t much she could say at this point. She looked down and sighed.
“I… maybe you’re right,” she mumbled. “…I’m not saying you are! But it’s not that simple you know!” She shook her head firmly and balled up her hands into fists. “I just wanted to-”
“Are you guys coming?” Bianca popped her head out of the door to the candy shop. “I’m hungry, I want to get candy! Come on you two!”
Nick and Auburn looked at each other. They followed her inside, but Auburn was trailing behind Nick, feeling hesitant.
She knew Bianca was taking advantage of the situation. I have to be the responsible one! She thought, biting her lip. And Bianca knows it! She’s acting all spoiled and pampered like a princess, because she knows that I need to be the adult between the two of us!
It just wasn’t fair. So maybe Auburn DID want to eat candy for breakfast every once in a while, but she needed to be the mature adult here!
Bianca was… well, like a kid in a candy shop. She looked around with wide eyes and then turned on her heel and practically leapt into Nick’s arms. “Come on! Let’s get some candy, Nick!” She cooed, rubbing her cheek against his chest, holding him tight.
She turned to Auburn and stuck out her tongue. “You can go eat some carrots or something I guess,” she scoffed.
Auburn’s eye twitched.
“I…”
“I want some bubblegum!” Bianca said immediately. She grabbed a pack of gum that Auburn recognized immediately.
“Hey! That’s-!” She gasped.
Nick wasn’t sure what was going on here. Before he could figure it out, Bianca had already popped a piece of gun into her mouth and started chewing.
Then, suddenly, a popping feeling surged through her chest. Her breasts began to expand within her blouse, quickly growing to a C-cup, and maybe even bigger.

“Ooh! Nice!” Bianca cheered, cupping her newly-grown breasts. “My boobs are bigger now! What do you think, Nick?” She cooed, turning to him and batting her eyelashes. “You like these?” She sauntered over to the flustered Nick, and leaned forward, pressing her breasts into his chest.
Nick paled, and his jaw dropped. He didn’t know what was going on here, but he did remember this gum from the last time they were at the Amusement Park, and what had happened before.
If Nick was shocked, Auburn was completely paralyzed. She stared at Nick and Bianca, her mouth flopping open and closed as she flailed about mentally.
“What the-?!” She stammered awkwardly.
If it was a competition between Auburn and Bianca (and in Auburn’s mind it absolutely was) then Bianca was definitely winning.
Auburn couldn’t let that happen, not a chance!
“Too bad you don’t want any candy for breakfast,” Bianca laughed, blowing a big bubble in Auburn’s direction that made her breasts expand another cup size. “Maybe then you could have some fun, how about that?”
Auburn’s pallid complexion turned red and she fumed. “I… I can do that too!” She exclaimed, stomping her foot.
She was trying to be the mature and dignified one, and where did it get her? She had to sit back and watch a girl with her face, heck, another version of her, chewing gum and growing her breasts and then rubbing them all over the guy SHE was in love with?!
No, no, no!
Auburn needed to do something, or this date would end up being between Nick and Bianca, with Auburn playing the role of “frumpy friend”.
That couldn’t happen.
“I-I can get some gum, too!” Auburn declared, slapping the package down on the counter.
“Whoa, hey, Auburn, you don’t have to do this,” Nick urged the cat girl. He shook his head and approached her. “I get what you’re feeling-”
“I’m gonna do this,” Auburn said firmly. “Bianca, you’re not the only one who can be bold! I can be bold too, and I want to!”
She shook her head, and stared enviously at Bianca. Bianca looked back at her and smirked, sticking her tongue out tauntingly. A chewed-up wad of gum sat on it.
Auburn’s eye twitched. She grabbed a piece of gum herself and popped it into her mouth, staring Bianca down the whole time. She blew a bubble and her breasts expanded to match Bianca’s.

Nick stood paralyzed with indecision. He couldn’t deny that the two cat girls growing their breasts like this while ostensibly fighting over him wasn’t a really attractive and exciting prospect, but it definitely wasn’t something he was complaining about.
He still thought that he should step in and keep things from escalating if possible, though. He knew how stubborn Dawn could be when she thought she was right, and now there were two of them! “I… okay, you two, please stop feuding like this, it’s not helpful for anyone,” he said, getting between the two of them. He knew they were competitive, but this was getting out of hand!
“I’m surprised, honestly,” Bianca said, shaking her head in amusement. “I thought for sure that Auburn would absolutely refuse to try the gum, since she’s such a little buzzkill! But no, I think this is just perfect!”
Bianca’s eyes were shining brighter than ever. Auburn was a little surprised. She didn’t know what was going on here, frankly, or what Bianca was after, but she didn’t matter. She had tried being the mature adult one, and where had it gotten her?
“I can eat more candy than you can!” Auburn declared.
“Nuh-uh! I can definitely eat more!” Bianca challenged her back.
Before Nick could get a word out, both girls had already scurried away down the aisle, grabbing as many goodies as they could get their tiny little paws on.
Nick just shook his head in horror. This situation with the two Dawns was only going from bad to worse unfortunately.
Or fortunately, depending on how you look at it
