You also see a stack of moldy looking books in a corner of the trunk which you decide to stay away from. It was there though that you finally find something “blunt” – a rectangular gift box was next to the books with a gift card that had the legend “For Deirdra”.

Curious, you take the box and remove the lid. “Oh my god,” you gasp is surprise.

Out of the box you take out an elaborately sculpted wooden wand. Carved all over its shaft were highly detailed human figures interacting with similarly detailed “fantasy” creatures – monsters. Throughout the wand’s length were scenes of men and women fighting, flirting and fucking these monstrosities as if it were a hentai movie done in relief.

The wand was also tipped off with a figure of a beautiful naked woman with long hair. Her arms were stretched out and downwards like she was presenting herself to whoever was watching. But what really caught your eye was how the upturned head and flowing hair were formed. It looked like it could be the business end of a dildo!

“Finally, something normal,” you say in relief, spotting a Polaroid in the box. Setting down the wand, you examine the images in the picture and recognize a smiling Amy immediately. With her was an equally happy bespectacled brunette with shoulder length hair.

“Hey that’s Alicia,” you realize. Alicia is one of Amy’s friends who often went on the same “trips” Amy was on. She was some sort of librarian or bookshop owner in the suburbs and you know that her place was close by.

“Looks like I have my first lead,” you smile confidently.
