Chapter 209
by
Exarch-of-Sechrima
Who could it be now?
I'm definitely not an imposter
Nick woke up to the sight of a gorgeous goth girl sleeping on the bed next to him. For a moment, he didn’t think about waking her up, and just propped himself up on his elbow to watch her sleep. She seemed so peaceful and serene like this, so much different from the way she’d been most of the week.
She has matured a lot these past few days, he thought, but looking at her like this, she still seems so pure and innocent. At the end of the day, she’s still just an 18-year-old girl.
Morgana yawned, and her eyes fluttered open. She stared at Nick for a second, and their eyes met.
He didn’t realize that her real eye color was such a lovely shade of green.
“E-excuse me!” She hastily grabbed her contact case and ran into the bathroom, where she took a moment to regather herself and think about the last night.
After Holly had surprised her by sharing which women had agreed to have fantasies in their dreams, Morgana had a lot on her mind. She honestly hadn’t expected to have so many volunteers, given the backlash at the beginning of the week.
And she certainly hadn’t expected Dani to be one of them.
Gina and Mary were obvious. After all, both women were actively sexual and desired Nick greatly. She’d come up with hot and scintillating fantasies for the both of them that played perfectly into their fetishes. As for Rose, her desires were a little more pure. She wanted a romantic date with Nick, going out to the movies followed by dinner in a fancy restaurant, and then the two of them made steamy and passionate love in the bedroom of their shared condo. A romantic fantasy like that was surprisingly easy for Morgana to sink her teeth into, and she found herself drooling with delight as she imagined herself sharing the same dream.
Then she came to Dani.
According to Holly, Dani had come to her asking for a fantasy too. And when Morgana heard that, she nearly dropped the stir-fry she’d been cooking. After all, Dani was a lesbian. What would she ever want with Morgana’s fantasy powers?! Hadn’t she gotten incredibly angry at Morgana for exactly that?
“Apparently, she wants something g-rated,” Holly had told her, and made a very clear point of how disappointed she was in that. “You know, walking on the beach together, holding hands, having a good time, but nothing past that. Hugs are okay, but no kissing or heavy petting or taking clothes off.”
What, was Morgana now susceptible to broadcast morality guidelines? She felt like a writer under review. It didn’t help that she had Holly peeking over her shoulder while she wrote down the entries, and even providing her with feedback.
When Holly wasn’t completely consumed by her horniness, she displayed exactly those editing talents Nick had alluded to, the ones that allowed her to write such good articles for her reporting gig.
By the time Morgana finished, she had something that looked like a date you might see in an advertisement in the 50s. Dani and Nick would go to the mall, then a burger shop, then walk through the park and just chat with one another. There was a romantic tone in the air, because of course there was. If it was completely platonic, Morgana wasn’t sure if it would even COUNT as a fantasy.
…To be honest, she wasn’t sure if her transformation even worked on Dani in the first place. If it did, then she must have some pure, romantic fantasies like that floating SOMEWHERE in her head, but they were probably tamped down by her teenage hormones.
“Morgana, are you okay?” Nick asked, knocking gently on the door. The worry in his voice was palpable.
Morgana sighed. Time to face the music.
She finished doing her makeup like Gina showed her (nothing too intense; ever since she got her Moonlit Alabaster transformation, all the flaws in her skin she would normally conceal were gone- so just some light eyeshadow) and put in her contacts. Finally, that red-eyed sexy goth was staring back at her.
“Sorry, I just needed to get ready,” she said as she stepped out of the bathroom. “It’s a big day today, after all.”
“Agreed,” Nick nodded. “I hope it all works out for you.”
Morgana opened her mouth to reply, but before she could, the world around the two of them twisted, and they both disappeared.
Nick and Morgana popped back into existence in the middle of a metallic room, along with the other women in Nick’s harem.
Everyone took a second to get their bearings.
“What the hell?!” Gina swore. “Fucking bitch!”
“Language!” Mary chastised her.
“Where are we?” Kim looked around. “Did Sylvia bring us here for the challenge?”
“Uh… guys?” Dawn’s ears and tail were standing on end. “I think you might want to take a look at that…”
There was very little of substance within the metal room. But there was a very large window. A window that stretched along the entire circumference of the circular chamber.
Everything outside the window was black. An empty void populated by starlight, and with a very recognizable star very close by. The churning mass of red-hot gas glowed with passionate energy, and in the other direction floated a very familiar blue and green ball.
“…Holy shit,” Gina cursed, ignoring Mary’s prior chastisement. Not that it mattered, Mary was too stunned to correct her, if she’d even heard her in the first place.
“No way!” Rose’s eyes widened in disbelief, and she ran to the edge of the room. “It can’t be!”
“It can’t be,” Dawn agreed, shaking her head. “It must be an image projected on the glass or something along those lines. We can’t be-”
“In space!” Dani exclaimed, her eyes wide with excitement. “We’re in space!?”
“No way, that’s so cool!” Carly was shocked. The girls had seen a lot in their time at the hotel, but traveling to space was something else entirely.
“…If you say so,” Marley said, shrinking back a little. She didn’t like the idea of being in a vacuum any better than the next human. It sucked that she would be dragged along into challenges with her sister from here on out.
“Space, huh?” Dakota mused, stroking her chin. “That’s… creative.”
“This is so cool!” Morgana shared Dani’s enflamed passions. She turned to Nick with stars in her eyes. “Can you imagine? The endless night, stretching out for miles… indeed, a beautiful goth woman projected against the starry sky, with limitless nothingness beyond her…”
She realized that everyone was staring at her, and she could practically feel the good will she’d earned yesterday draining down the waterless toilet.
“Okay, guys, I get it, we’re in space,” Nick said, stepping forward to draw some of the heat off of Morgana. “Obviously there’s a reason for that, and we know Sylvia’s behind it. So this is clearly something to do with the next challenge, right?”
“Definitely,” Kim nodded. “But before that…” She glanced at Morgana’s hand, and saw a distinct lack of change in the point totals. “…So you two didn’t do anything, huh?”
“I’m certain my husband was a perfect gentleman!” Mary boasted.
“Too bad for you, huh?” Dakota snickered, which earned her a glare filled with redheaded embarrassment.
“Let’s, uh, stop talking about this, please,” Dani said, clearing her throat. She was still a little embarrassed because of the contents of her dream last night. She’d gotten the romantic night with Nick she’d asked for, but her dream had then decided to transition to the two of them in the sauna, and, well…
It was a bit of an explosive ending, not that she was bothered by it.
I should still thank Morgana, she thought. Later. During the challenge, probably, or after.
Her head was still a little twisted.
“Well, we know it’s a challenge, so let’s get on with it,” Gina scoffed, crossing her arms over her chest.
“How strange.” Dawn jumped up and down slightly, causing her tail to bounce. “We’re in space, but the gravity is the same as it would be on earth. That’s not normal.”
“Are you really going to analyze the whole thing?” Rose groaned. “Come on, Dawn! We’re in space! It’s cool and fun!”
She leaned back against the glass and stretched her arms above her head, pushing out her chest. “I might just be the sexiest woman to ever leave the planet!”
“Ahaha! Yeah, you’re definitely a cutie! But there’s a ton of sexy cuties up in the stars right now!” A bubbly voice drew everyone’s attention as a beautiful blonde strutted into the room through the door in the one part of the wall that wasn’t window.
It wasn’t the blonde anyone was expecting, though.
She wore an ankle-length black dress with a slit up the side to show off her long, creamy legs, and a plunging neckline that revealed a generous amount of juicy cleavage. Her golden hair fell down her back in waves and her blue eyes twinkled with a vapid emptiness that suggested there wasn’t a lot going on upstairs. But if you looked close, you could see the faintest hint of a sadistic gleam hiding deep within the bright blue orbs, showing she was more than just a brainless bimbo. She walked remarkably well on her black high heels, and brought her hands, clad in long black opera gloves, up to her plush lips to blow a kiss to the actress as she winked. A silver tiara with a sapphire embedded in the center finished off the look of a spoiled princess.
“…Who are you?” Mary asked, thoroughly confused. “Where’s Sylvia? Shouldn’t she be here for this?”
“I remember you,” Dawn said, adjusting her glasses. “You were at the wedding. You’re one of the other hosts! Chrissi, right?”
“Oh my gosh! I’m so glad you remembered!” Chrissi gushed. “Those glasses of yours aren’t for show, huh? You’re a real smarty-pants!”
“Um… yeah.” Dawn didn’t even know how to respond to that. Having been Rose’s buddy last round she knew how to deal with brainless blondes, but this was a little too brainless even for her. She just stared awkwardly at the other woman.
“So why are you here?” Dakota demanded, having zero patience for the bimbo. “Where’s Sylvia? Challenges are supposed to be her job. Don’t tell me she’s outsourcing now.”
“Out… sourcing?” The word flew over Chrissi’s head and she stared blankly at Dakota. The golden-eyed woman rolled her eyes and sighed in exasperation.
“…Never mind.”
“Aww, did you miss me? I’m touched!” And just like that, Sylvia popped into the room right beside Chrissi, wearing a playful smile on her face.
Dakota muttered something under her breath.
“What’s going on?” Nick demanded, approaching the blonde host- both blonde hosts. “Why did you bring us here?” He turned to Chrissi, who waved coquettishly at him. “…And why is she here?”
“Not very hospitable of you my boy,” Sylvia said, puffing up her cheeks. “Come on now. How about being neighborly? Chrissi had such a good time at your wedding the other day, she just came begging for a collaboration, wanting to see me again!”
Chrissi scrunched up her face in confusion. “Wait, Sylvi, weren’t you the one who asked me to-”
“A-bup-bup-bup,” Sylvia cut her off, cramming her hand over the other host’s mouth. “Enough about that! Yes, Chrissi is here, and the reason why is because her show happens to be set in a location that’s VERY important for the next challenge.”
“Space?” Kim asked incredulously.
Sylvia sighed. “…Yes, Kim. The next challenge is going to be set in space. Has that not been made clear to you yet?”
Kim blushed a little. “Well, I just thought I should point it out-”
“Right, yeah, whatever. And let me guess, you’re going to mention that one time you were an astronaut on the space station for a week or two a few years back?”
“No!” Kim exclaimed, turning even redder.
“Good. Then the amount of people here who know about space is, as I expected, basically zero,” Sylvia sniffed. “Which is perfectly fine! Because today, your challenge is a simple one! This space station is… how do I say this… it’s breaking down.”
“What!?” Carly immediately started to panic. “Breaking down!? You mean it’s going to fall apart or something!?”
“Are you crazy!?” Dani practically charged Sylvia down then and there. It was only due to her own self-control she was able to avoid doing something that would get her another punishment.
“Don’t worry, don’t worry,” Sylvia assured them, raising her hands up to try and calm everyone’s nerves. “All of Chrissi’s contestants and her master have already been evacuated, along with all other personnel. Everyone’s safe.”
“Yeah, except us!” Gina scowled.
Sylvia gave her a look. “…Right, because you’ve always been so concerned with self-preservation before now.”
Gina turned a little pink.
“Now, if you would all let me finish, I’m going to explain the challenge for today,” Sylvia said, clearing her throat. “As I was saying, this space station is breaking down. So you all are going to do a favor for my good buddy Chrissi here, and repair it for her!”
“Repair a space station!?” Rose exclaimed. “That’s nuts!”
“No way can I do something like that,” Dani said, shaking her head. “I have to take my computer to the store when I get a simple virus!”
“Well, I can think of someone here who might have the brains to handle something like this,” Dakota said, stroking her chin thoughtfully. “As for the rest of us, though…”
Invariably, all eyes turned to Dawn, who sighed in exasperation.
“I’m a veterinarian. I’m a doctor, not a rocket scientist!” She exclaimed.
“This is absurd, even as challenges go,” Nick said. “How would you even grade us, anyway?!”
“We’re getting to that,” Sylvia scowled. “You know, there wasn’t this much backtalk during the cooking challenge.”
“You’re trying to make us repair a space station this time!” Carly pointed out.
Sylvia shrugged.
“Each of you will be given a list of tasks to complete,” she continued. “And don’t worry. These are all very simple tasks. You don’t need to do any quantum physics or astrometry or… sciency-things. Elementary schoolers could do this.”
“Yep!” Chrissi nodded, her bubbly voice filling the circular room. “I can do, like, all of it! …Mostly.”
Everyone stole glances at the giggling girl. If she could handle this stuff, it would be pretty embarrassing if they couldn’t.
“I still don’t see what part of this is a challenge, though,” Mary said, frowning. “What’s the competition? Are we really just working together to fix the space station? How will that determine who gets immunity?”
She didn’t like thinking that way, honestly. She would have preferred if the challenge really WAS just about them all working together to fix the ship.
But she knew better than that. And Sylvia’s wicked smile told her that her suspicions were right on the money.
“It’s… certainly a complicated thing,” the blonde breathed. “Because you see… while most of you will be going around the station accomplishing tasks, a couple of you will have a different goal in mind. You see my girls, two of you will be given a special task, and that job is a simple one. Your job is to stop the space station from being repaired.”
“What?!” Kim exclaimed.
“But why would anyone want to do that?!” Morgana demanded.
“I’m with them, this makes no sense,” Gina agreed.
Sylvia ignored their responses. “Now, the saboteurs cannot do anything to directly impede the repairs. You can’t break things someone is trying to fix, for example. No, the only way to stop the others from fixing the ship is to… eliminate them.”
Mary froze. Her face went pale. “El-eliminate?”
“That’s right my girl,” Sylvia said, nodding smugly. “…Oh, but don’t worry, no one’s going to be getting killed. Rather, take a look at this.”
She held up a small syringe, barely the size of her pinkie finger.
“This needle is filled with a concentrated dose of aphrodisiac,” Sylvia informed the redhead. “One prick, and, well…”
She jammed it into Nick’s arm, and he cried out in surprise. He felt the heat rush out from the spot he was stuck, traveling up his arm and into his heart, then down to his balls. He could feel them burning as his penis hardened in his shorts in spite of himself, and before he knew it…
“AAAaaaanghhuggh!!” He moaned, nearly falling to his knees. A wet spot began to form on the front of his shorts, spreading out from his crotch as the smell of semen filled the air.
“Gross,” Dani scowled, waving her hand away from her face.
“Yum,” Gina grinned, licking her lips as she stared at Nick’s ruined shorts with glee.
Dawn didn’t say anything, but she felt her tail start twitching and she started to breathe faster.
“As you can see, a single prick of this needle will cause the target to cum their brains out immediately,” Sylvia explained. “And once you orgasm? That’s game over! You’ll fall ****, at which point you’re considered eliminated, and will be brought back here for the remainder of the challenge.”
“So wait, so the two saboteurs will just go around making us orgasm? That doesn’t seem fair,” Carly scowled. “We’ll never be able to get anything done!”
“Well, it’s not impossible,” Sylvia replied. “You see, these syringes take a while to charge. Once you use it, you need to wait ten minutes for it to recharge. So it’s not like they can stab a bunch of people in quick succession.”
Carly calmed down a little after hearing that. “Okay… I guess that makes it okay…”
“It doesn’t, though,” Dawn said, shaking her head. “At least, not with how I understand the challenge, anyway. Let me see if I’ve got this right. Of the nine of us here, seven of us will be working to repair the station, while the other two will be trying to bring us to orgasm so we can’t do that. But there’s no time limit or anything like that. So they can just keep eliminating us, and with every person they eliminate, the amount of repairs the rest of the team has to do increases, making things even harder as our numbers dwindle. Isn’t that right?”
“A very succinct explanation, yes,” Sylvia said, nodding.
“But that’s the problem!” Dawn exclaimed. “Things are too unfair for the saboteurs! There’s no threat to them, they can just eliminate whoever they want!”
“True, that does make things a little unfair,” Sylvia agreed completely. “That’s where the other aspect comes in handy!”
“Other aspect?” Dawn asked, narrowing her eyes.
“Yes! You see, this challenge is a reflection of society,” Sylvia explained. “In any society, there are always those who work hard for the betterment of the group. But there are also those who wish to tear down society for their own benefit, and don’t give a damn about the good of the many. And that’s where the power of the many can really be exercised.”
She leaned forward, her eyes twinkling. “It’s called democracy, my girls. The saboteurs might have their advantages, but they’re still in the minority. And that’s why they have to hide. Because at any time in the challenge, anybody can go to the big red button in the central meeting area, which you’ll be brought to shortly, and call a group meeting. Everybody will be instantly teleported to the meeting room, where you can discuss the circumstances and, if you wish, cast a vote.”
“A vote?” Dani asked. This sounded really familiar.
“What would we be voting for?” Carly frowned. Like Dani, this whole thing was starting to sound a lot like something she recognized.
“You will be voting for who you believe the saboteurs are, of course,” Sylvia smirked. “Everybody gets to cast a vote each meeting. Of course, you may abstain if you wish. But whoever gets the most votes will be eliminated immediately! And of course, no **** may be committed during these meetings, and the syringes lose all their power. On this channel, I would never do anything to subvert the democratic process!”
“So we can just vote for whoever we think is guilty, and they’re kicked out? Just like that?” Dani punched the palm of her hand. “Now we’re talking!”
“Use your brain,” Rose scoffed, shaking her head. “It’s not that simple. How would we even know if the person we’re voting for is guilty or not? It’s a witch hunt.”
Morgana went pale.
“Rose is right,” Dawn agreed. “Voting is risky in this situation. Unless you’re certain you know who the saboteur is, a vote to eliminate someone just means the possibility of more work for the rest of us. Think about it. There’s only a two-in-nine chance that the person being eliminated is actually the saboteur. Those aren’t good odds.”
“…What about me?” Marley asked suddenly, raising her hand. “How am I involved in this?”
“That’s a good question,” Mary agreed. “What’s Marley’s role?”
Sylvia was happy to share. “Marley, my darling, your role is a simple one. You’ll be following along with Carly the entire time, helping her out. You’ll be counted as one person for the sake of this challenge. If Carly is the saboteur, she’s the only one who gets to hold and use the syringe. You’re just a bystander. If Carly is a worker, then you watch her do her tasks, and if she orgasms and is eliminated, so are you. Simple enough?”
It sounded like there might be some loopholes there, but Dawn couldn’t see any.
“Okay, the game itself sounds almost balanced,” she was **** to admit. “But what about scoring? How exactly are the points going to work here?”
“It will be a little different than how you’re used to,” Sylvia said. “For starters, there are two different possible outcomes of this game.”
Nick had picked up on that.
“The first outcome is that the workers identify and eliminate both the saboteurs,” Sylvia explained, summoning up one of her black boards. It showed two stick figure women being shoved out of an airlock by a crowd of other stick figures. “Should this happen, both saboteurs will immediately lose the challenge and be struck with a -10 point penalty.”
A chorus of gasps rushed through the room. That was the strictest penalty for losing a challenge yet.
“…Now, you might think that’s harsh, but it’s as harsh as it needs to be to turn you girls against one another,” Sylvia said, smiling cheerfully at the thought of friends attacking each other. “I don’t want there to be any personal grudges. The saboteurs are doing what they’re doing so they can survive, same as you girls.”
“What about the winners, then?” Dakota asked, her eyes glowing with anticipation.
“Yes, that’s simple,” Sylvia nodded. “In this instance, where all the saboteurs are found and voted out, anybody still in the game will automatically receive 10 Victory Points. It will be considered as if they all got first place.”
“Wait, so does that mean we won’t get transformations?!” Dani asked, her eyes glowing with excitement.
Sylvia smiled, and then shook her head. “I’m afraid not, my girl. In fact, I’m going to make something very clear. Due to the nature of this challenge, regardless of placing on the board, everybody will be getting a transformation. It doesn’t matter who wins or loses in that sense. The VP is the only reward you’ll be getting.”
Dani’s face fell.
“What about eliminations, then?” Rose asked warily. “If Dani and I are both still around when the saboteurs are eliminated, then we both get first, oui? Who would be the rose-giver then?”
Sylvia smiled a mysterious smile. “We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it, my girl. Now, let me present an example of how the point totals might square up. Here’s a possible distribution, should the workers win.”
1st: Rose – 10 Points
1st: Kim – 10 Points
1st: Dani – 10 Points
2nd: Morgana – 8 Points
3rd: Carly – 6 Points
4th: Dakota – 4 Points
5th: Mary – 2 Points
Last: Dawn – -10 Points
Last: Gina – -10 Points
“In this example, Dawn and Gina are the saboteurs, and have both been voted out,” Sylvia explained. “Rose, Kim, and Dani all get 10 VP for being in first, and then it goes by order of elimination. Morgana was the last to be eliminated, so she gets second, Carly third, and so on and so forth.”
“So even if we’ve been eliminated, it’s still in our best interest for as many of our fellow workers to survive as possible,” Kim noted. “Because the more people in first, the higher our rankings will be, and the more VP we’ll get.”
“Exactly correct,” Sylvia nodded. “I’m glad you’re paying attention! Now, let me show you the other example. This is what happens when the saboteurs win!”
1st: Dawn – 10 Points
1st: Gina – 10 Points
2nd: Rose – 0 Points
3rd: Mary – -1 Points
4th: Kim – -2 Points
5th: Dakota – -3 Points
6th: Carly – -4 Points
7th: Dani – -5 Points
8th: Morgana – -6 Points
“What?!” Dawn’s eyes bugged out in shock. “But… they’re all negatives!”
“That’s right,” Sylvia nodded smugly. “If the saboteurs win, why should the eliminated contestants get anything? The first worker to be eliminated will get -6 points. Then it’s a little nicer each time, depending on your ranking. But if the saboteurs win, only they will get a positive number of points. Think of it as an incentive for you, the workers, to uncover who the saboteurs are.”
“That’s tricky,” Rose muttered. “It’s a really huge swing for the saboteurs if they manage to win.”
“It definitely is,” Sylvia agreed. “Especially for one with such a low point total as yourself, my girl. This is a great option for someone to come from behind… or, on the other hand, perhaps the saboteur will be someone with a high point total, to throw off suspicion? You can never be sure.”
“With swings like that, there’s bound to be some paranoia going around,” Carly begrudgingly admitted. “Nobody wants to lose any points.”
“It’s a very simple system to ensure the game is played fairly on both sides!” Sylvia chirped. “If the workers win, all the survivors get 10 VP, while the eliminated contestants get a little less depending on how fast they were eliminated, but the saboteurs get a massive -10 VP penalty. On the other hand, if the saboteurs win, they both get 10 VP, even if one of them has been eliminated, and the tradeoff is that all the other contestants get nothing at best, and a penalty at worst.”
“So even if one of the saboteurs has been found and kicked off, if the other one still manages to eliminate everyone else, they both get 10 VP? That’s something alright,” Rose mused thoughtfully.
“Indeed,” Sylvia nodded. “It’s a very tricky arrangement. And as you might expect, determining buddies is much more straightforward with this arrangement. It would be just like any other challenge. Now then, my girls! It’s time to get to work! Let us begin... Cummong Us! ...And I hope to be seeing a lot of that! Make Chrissi here proud!”
“Good luck everybody!” Chrissi blew kisses as the ten girls headed out the door and into the space station.
Idk this challenge sounds kinda sus
