Chapter 579

Exarch-of-Sechrima
Oof, yuck
I'm cool like the rain, and I'm hot like the sun, I'm a neon rainbow, and you're no fun
“So what did we learn?” Auburn asked. She rubbed the back of her nauseous counterpart, trying to soothe the other girl’s stomach.
Bianca raised her head and grimaced at the other girl. She looked sick. “I get it,” she grumbled, rolling her eyes. Her glasses had come askew after all that throwing up, and she realigned them. “I shouldn’t have eaten that deep-friend twinkie, you’re right.”
Auburn seemed very proud of herself. Meanwhile, Nick stood off to the side, not sure if anything he said would help. It looked like Auburn was better at comforting herself than he could be anyway.
“…But just because I feel sick, doesn’t mean I regret it,” Bianca said, sitting up. She patted her stomach, still looking a little green around the gills. She took a sip of water to soothe her gut. “I did something I wanted to do! And sure, it backfired, but that’s just what happens, you know?”
Auburn raised her eyebrow. “What do you mean?” She asked cautiously.
“I know how your brain works, Auburn, because it works the same way mine does,” Bianca said, looking up fiercely into her counterpart’s eyes. “You’re trying to minimize bad actions. I understand that. Damage control, that’s the kind of girl you are.”
Auburn nodded cautiously. “I’m just trying to make sure that everything works out for the best,” she said softly. “I don’t want to mess things up or make a mistake!”
“Why not?” Bianca asked. “What’s so wrong about living life a little?”
“Because when you live life the way you’re doing, you end up bent over a garbage can, puking your guts out!” Auburn exclaimed.
Valid point.
Bianca huffed and shook her head. “I know… believe me, these things happen. But we’re the same person, Auburn! We’re both part of Dawn! Which means a part of Dawn feels the same way I feel, you know that, right?”
Auburn looked alarmed. Her eyes quickly shot over to Nick for a moment and stepped back. “That… okay, I understand what you mean,” she said, shaking her head and trying to regain control over the situation. “Maybe you’re right, maybe there’s a part of me… of Dawn… that wants to do reckless things and act boldly… but I need to think about the greater good here!” She protested, shaking her head.
“The greater good is what makes you happy, what makes me happy,” Bianca said, just as stubborn as her other self.
There were issues at play here. Issues Nick wasn’t sure how to handle. It seemed like the two girls were conflicting sides of Dawn’s ego, and were coming to a head. One part of Dawn wanted to live life loosely and do the things she wanted, while the other part of her was trying to pump the breaks and remain in control of the situation.
It was complicated.
“I think you two need to strike a balance here,” he said, stepping forward. Both girls looked at him, surprised to hear that Nick was getting involved in this.
“What do you mean?” Auburn asked, frowning.
“Balance?” Bianca raised her eyebrow.
Nick nodded. “Come on, you two. Dawn is the smartest girl I know, and you’ve both got her brains. So you should be able to figure it out yourself,” he said. “Auburn, I know you want to do the responsible thing here. But I’ve seen the way you’ve been acting today. Bianca’s right, you have been enjoying yourself today, right?”
Auburn hesitated and nodded softly. She looked over at Bianca, who smiled smugly.
“And Bianca,” Nick turned to the other Dawn next, “Auburn isn’t wrong that you should restrain yourself. Unless you want to throw up all over the place again.”
Bianca smiled sheepishly. “That was probably the wrong call,” she admitted. “But I just thought it was my last chance, you know?”
She looked back at Auburn. “When we’re one person again, then I’m going to want to be all mature and responsible and determined to do the right thing,” she pointed out. “The mature thing. If that happens, am I really going to be willing to eat a deep-fried twinkie? I wasn’t before. So I thought… this was my one chance.”
Auburn frowned and crossed her arms over her chest. “In other words, since I’m here, you get to do whatever you want, since you have me to be the responsible one, is that right?”
Bianca smirked. “Uh, yeah, basically,” she replied cheekily, causing Auburn to roll her eyes in exasperation.
Nick sighed. It looked like they were getting along, at least. But at this point, he couldn’t take anything for granted.
But they were smiling.
“So what’s the plan?” He asked. “I’m assuming the roller-coaster is out of the question, considering the state of your stomach?”
Bianca laughed sheepishly and rubbed her belly, nodding. “You’re not wrong,” she admitted, standing up from the bench and walking over to Nick. She planted a kiss on his cheek. Fortunately, she’d more than washed the vomit off of her breath. “Thank you for your kind words and looking out for me,” she cooed.
Nick laughed and Auburn fumed with jealousy.
“Y-yeah, well… th-thanks for telling me that I need to moderate!” She said, running over and kissing him on his other cheek. “That means a lot to me, too!”
Bianca smirked. “You’ve been moderating enough as it is,” she replied, casting a sly smirk at her other self. “Moderating my behavior, I mean.”
“Hey!” Auburn frowned. “That’s not what I meant by being moderate, and you know it!” She looked desperately at Nick, hoping he wouldn’t be convinced by the other girl’s words.
Nick said nothing. He could already see where this was going. He shook his head.
“You guys are amazing together,” he said simply. “That’s what really matters here, don’t you guys think? Working together and having a good time? The date isn’t close to being over yet.”
Both girls looked at each other. A flash of understanding passed between them, and they nodded.
“You’re right,” they agreed. “Let’s have some fun!”
It was a nice sight to see.
There was still the question of what rides they would actually go on, though. Bianca had rebounded nicely from puking her guts out, but that didn’t mean she was fully-prepared to go on the wilder rides again.
“We should go on something easier,” Auburn advised. “Something that won’t upset your stomach too much.”
“Yeah, I know,” Bianca nodded, unable to hide how bummed out she was by the other girl’s sensible decision. She didn’t raise any complaints though. While she was the Dawn who prioritized what she wanted to do, that didn’t mean she was completely without sense. She knew her own body better than anyone, and she knew that if she went on another wide ride like a roller-coaster or one of those vertical drops, they’d be right back here.
And she didn’t want to throw up all over herself again and look disgusting in Nick’s eyes. She was pretty sure she was already behind in the “look nice and attractive to Nick” competition anyway compared to her other self. Uptight as Auburn was, throwing up must have cost her a few points.
So in spite of her cheeky personality, she had been thoroughly humbled, at least for the short-term, anyway.
“Are there any slow rides?” Nick wondered. His eyes drifted over to the Ferris Wheel, but he wasn’t sure now was the right time for that, even though he could predict how it would end up going.
The only other slow ride he could think of off the top of his head was the one where they’d encountered Serenity and the other sirens. And given how competitive the two Dawns were around each other, introducing a wild card like that into the mix seemed like a really bad idea.
So they would have to come up with something else to do.
Fortunately, Dawn had a lot of experience going on the slower, easier rides.
Not that Auburn or Bianca were particularly pleased about it. They shared a sour look as they glanced at each other, then at Nick.
Auburn sighed. “Well… we have quite a breadth of experience when it comes to more casual rides,” she pointed out. “Considering our history.”
Nick nodded. Back in the day of school field trips, Dawn was too short to go on any of the “run” rides at the amusement parks, so she’d always idled around going to the ones that didn’t have any height requirements. And those tended to be the slower, easier ones.
“I want to go on the Ferris Wheel!” Bianca declared. If they couldn’t go on the fun rides that Dawn never got a chance to go on as a kid, then they might as well go on a ride that would be fun for them.
Nick anticipated that. “Are you sure?” He asked. “Maybe we should save that for the end of the date,” he suggested.
Bianca nodded. She could live with that.
“If we want something lighter, we could always go to the carnival games,” Auburn pointed out. That’s what they’d done before, when Morgana was having stomach problems.
“Ooh, and bet our clothes?” Bianca giggled excitedly. “I can get behind that.”
Nick wasn’t so sure. Well, he would be fine with the “betting clothes” part, but his bigger point of concern was the fact that the two girls would absolutely turn this into a competition of who could outshine the other.
“Are you sure?” He asked. “You don’t want to… ah, what am I saying?” He shook his head and smiled in exasperation as he saw the looks of determination on the two girls’ faces. The competitive fire was already burning between the two of them, and there was no way either of them would back down at this point.
Nothing he could do but stand back and let the chips fall where they may.
Nola was happy to greet them when they got to the alley where the carnival games would be played.
“I had a feeling I’d see you around here sooner or later!” She chirped, waving to the group. “A couple of competitive kitty cats like you two? How could you stay away?”
Auburn’s eye twitched. “Are we really that predictable?” She sighed.
“Maybe you are, Ms. Fuddy-Duddy,” Bianca giggled. “But I do whatever will bring a smile to my face!”
Auburn raised her eyebrow. “You realize that makes you predictable as well, right?” She pointed out. “After all, doing whatever you want-”
“Are we going to play or not?” Bianca cut her off, crossing her arms over her chest and letting out a huff. “I want to get some action going!”
Auburn sighed and glanced over at Nick. “You see what I have to put up with?” She asked, waving at her other self.
“Huh? ‘Put up with’? But I’m you!” Bianca protested. She rolled her eyes. “Whatever. Let’s do this thing, okay?”
Auburn nodded. She wasn’t about to let her other self get the better of her, not if she could help it!
“What’s your poison, then?” She asked Bianca, narrowing her eyes into daggers. “I can beat you at any game of your choosing and you know it!”
Bianca scoffed and rolled her eyes. “Yeah? Fat chance! We’ll see just what you’re capable of!” She scoffed, putting her hands on her hips. “Ladies first! You pick the game, and I’ll win it for sure!”
The two were determined to see this through, much to Nick’s amusement. He just hoped they could keep this within the friendly spirit of competition.
Nola cleared her throat. “Don’t forget, you have to wager one article of clothing for each attempt,” she reminded the girls. “And we don’t accept shoes or socks. …Or glasses,” she added, nodding to the girls’ eyewear.
“As if I’d give up my glasses,” Auburn scoffed, rolling her eyes. She and Bianca really were fundamentally the same person.
“That’s right, she needs all the help she can get!” Bianca bragged.
Nick wasn’t sure he remembered Dawn being this nasty. It must be their temporary transformation kicking in.
“Let’s play that one!” Auburn got the first pick, and she pointed right at a rather lascivious game. Several large dildoes stuck up out of a platform, hardened shafts nearly-perfect replicas of cocks. They pointed up to the curtained ceiling, so realistic-looking Nick could swear they were throbbing.
A ring-toss. Standard fare, in theory, but this one was titled The Cockring-Toss.
Cute.
“And what will you be wagering?” Nola chirped.
Both Dawns glanced at each other.
“Easy decision,” they answered in unison, reaching down to their waists. They unfastened their skirts without hesitation, letting the frilly articles of clothing fall to the ground. Both girls wore dark leggings underneath them, so their modesty was well-preserved.
Still, Nick was polite enough to turn his eyes away-
“Don’t look away, Nick!” Bianca called over to him. “Watch me beat her!”
Nick snapped his head around and stared at the two girls with wide eyes. Bianca wagged her butt like a real cat would, causing her tail to shake. Auburn stared at her counterpart in stunned shock, ring in hand.
“What are you doing!?” She hissed at her other self.
Bianca smirked back at her.
“You know what I’m doing,” she replied with an amused purr in her voice. “I’m doing what you wish you could be doing right now! Only… you’re not bold enough to do it.”
Auburn gave her other self a sour glare, her cheeks pinkening. She knew that Bianca was goading her, but still, the sly cat girl was right. Deep down, she did want to show off for Nick. But she couldn’t do something like that! What would he think of her!? He’d think she was some- some kind of pervert!
…Well, if the shoe fit…
Bianca’s already doing it anyway, Auburn reasoned. So he knows that I- err, that Dawn, wants to show herself off on some level. So is it really so bad if I… if I did it, too?
When she thought about it like that, she could almost feel grateful for Bianca’s teasing. As much as she didn’t like how bold and thoughtless Bianca’s flighty decisions made her look, once the genie was out of the bottle there wasn’t much reason for her to keep playing the prude, was there?
Bianca was giving in.
Couldn’t Auburn?
Auburn took a deep breath and exhaled. She turned around, and began to wiggle her butt too, making her ass shake for Nick’s watching eyes as she lined up her shot.
Twerked for the Master! +1 VP
Both Dawns let out a squeak of surprise. But they rebounded quickly, feeling Nick staring at them intently.
It was the polite thing to do, after all. They were showing off for his sake, it would be rude to not look, right?
That was how he justified it.
Both girls wound back their hands and flung the rings forward. Nola had gone to the trouble of arranging for a duel of sorts, setting up two dildos side by side with one another for the girls to aim at.
And both women stood in perfect reflection of one another, their forms identical. They sent their rings flying through the air with perfect symmetry, and they landed squarely around the flared head of the cocks, before rattling down to the base.
“Yes!” They cheered together, throwing their fists up into the air. “I got it!”
Then they immediately realized that the other Dawn had also made her shot, as well, and they looked at each other.
“Not bad,” Bianca sniffed.
“As expected,” Auburn replied.
Nick realized the problem. They were the same person, fundamentally. They had the same level of hand-eye coordination, the same skills… they were practically equals in every way that mattered for a competition like this.
And as the girls received their skirts, and got to pick out their prize, the fact that they both picked a Dawn figure didn’t go unnoticed by him, either.
So this competition is pointless, then, he realized.
No matter what the girls competed at, there wouldn’t be a winner. They could clear every game on the strip. Win or lose, their scores would be identical every time.
The Dawns put proof to that concept. They pushed themselves to the limit, competing at every game they thought they had a decent chance of winning at. And as expected, they both got the same score every time. Even the strength tester they scored equal on… but that had cost them their leggings.
They still had their skirts to preserve their modesty, at least.
In the end, they’d won a nice assortment of prizes. Figures of just about every girl in Nick’s harem, even the exclusive Mimi ones that had required them doing the slime crawl again.
“So what exactly are we gonna do with all this junk?” Auburn asked as they hauled their prizes off in several bags. Neither Dawn was exactly thrilled about a full collection, even if it was pretty impressive. She was far more concerned about the breeze blowing over her exposed thighs.
“I don’t know,” Bianca replied with a shrug. “Technically we’ve got two full sets. I don’t know about you, but I’m going to keep mine, as a testament to my victory!”
Auburn raised her eyebrow. “Your victory?” She scowled. “What victory? You realize we got the same score every time, right!?”
“Yeah but I had more fun, so I win!” Bianca chirped. To prove her point, she flexed her tail, causing her skirt to jump. This flashed her pussy to Nick for a brief moment, startling him.
Auburn turned red. She wouldn’t do something like that.
…Except she did.
Nick cleared his throat. “You both did really well,” he said. “Let’s put you prizes aside for now. Is there anything else you girls want to do?”
Both Dawns looked up at the sky. It was getting later than they thought.
“I’m feeling better now,” Bianca said. “Let’s get some more rides in! As many as we can! And then we can go on the Ferris Wheel for last!”
“Agreed,” Auburn nodded. They were in perfect unison for once. “But we’ve gotta put our stuff away, first! Otherwise we might lose it!”
She didn’t even want all the figures and she was still being responsible. The two girls scurried away and Nick followed them with an amused smile on his face. The date was winding down, and he was relieved that they hadn’t torn each other apart in the competition for more prizes.
Thank god for small favors.
