Chapter 1006

Exarch-of-Sechrima
Hopefully things work out. This challenge is almost over, and then-!
I'll forget about you somehow
Cinder had really messed up. She knew that it was a bad idea to split off from the other girls (even if she would never admit it in a million years) and now she was totally lost. Not being able to touch anything, she ended up wandering all over the place, not having a firm grasp on where the exit to the maze was.
Well… she could have found it if she’d tried. But that would require her doing things that she wasn’t comfortable doing with an audience watching.
But since she wasn’t about to mess around and waste time for Ella, either, that put her in a difficult position. One that became imminently more apparent as she noticed her lingerie starting to come apart at the seams. Her clothes were on a time deadine, and if she didn’t finish the maze fast, then she’d be finished herself. So in the end, she found herself **** to make a compromise. And not one that she was happy with.
Ultimately, Cinder had ****. She would have to touch herself, that much was a given. And she even found a clever way to do it. Just because she’d barely received any formal education, that didn’t mean she was an idiot! No, her idea was actually quite creative. What she did was take advantage of the fact that she could pass through walls, and keep the lower half of her body hidden within the wall as she touched herself, thereby pleasuring herself and reaching orgasm without anybody being able to see what she was doing!
At least, that was how it was supposed to go. But reckless as she was, it never even occurred to her that everybody could see exactly what she was doing just by looking at her expression as she tried to suppress her moans, even if they couldn’t actually see the naughty parts.
…Whatever. It worked, didn’t it!?
Cinder spotted the exit on the map immediately. And while it wasn’t exactly close by, she knew that she could get there. Once she regained the feeling in her legs. But then, just as she was about to set out, the floorplan changed, judging by the rumbling feeling she felt.
“…FUCKING DAMN IT!” She cursed, and got back to work again. She was so fucking tired of this! She hated this, she hated feeling pleasure or getting involved in all this gross sex stuff, she hated everything, she-!
“…Ooohhh!” Ella had no idea what was happening. She regained control over her body just in time to feel the effects of her orgasm shoot through her. Dazed and confused but having a semblance of sense of what was going on, she staggered forward, seeing the exit clearly in her mind.
She had no idea why she was walking through walls, but she wasn’t going to question it. She ran as fast as she could towards the exit, heart pounding in her chest.
But unfortunately for Ella, she wasn’t the only one who knew where the exit was located, even if she did have a sizable advantage.
“That’s the way!” Lynette crowed, trying to see straight through the jostling of Sylvia’s bag. “Just a little bit more, a couple more turns…”
“We know!” Dani’s face was hot. In order to make sure that Lynette wasn’t leading them into a trap, she’d taken a moment to bring herself to orgasm just to verify the map. And while she couldn’t be sure Lynette was lying (she never changed her directions, after all) she was still confident that she’d made the right decision.
“There!” Lynette confidently declared when they reached a fork in the path. “That way!”
“You can’t point,” Sylvia said. “Which way is ‘that way’?”
“…Right. To the left,” Lynette said after a moment’s pause.
Dani’s eye twitched in irritation. “Well, which one is it?” She grumbled. “Right or left?”
“Left,” Lynette said, sounding rather irritated herself. “I just told you!”
Sylvia glanced at Dani, who looked to her for a signal of what to do. Sylvia just nodded, confident that Lynette was telling the truth, and the two girls headed for the left path.
After a couple more minutes, they arrived at a large chamber. The walls were made of the same mossy bricks as the rest of the labyrinth, but neither of them noticed. They were only paying attention to the massive stone arch at the end of the room, and the stairs leading up past it.
Sunlight streamed down from above, casting the stairwell in a warm glow. Neither of them needed to say a word, they both knew that they had made it to the end.
“We did it!” Sylvia breathed, a shaky grin crossing her lips. “We got to the end of the maze!”
“Fuck yeah, we did!” Dani said. She had no idea if they had made it first or not, but at this point, it didn’t even matter. “Let’s-”
“WAAAAAIIIIITTT!” A voice wailed from behind them. Dani and Sylvia turned back towards the way they’d come, but they couldn’t spot the owner of the voice.
That was because the voice didn’t actually come from the tunnel. It came from the wall beside it.
A frazzled, exhausted, and panting Ella stumbled out of the wall, and Dani screamed.
“Yeee! What the hell!?” She recoiled, her eyes bulging out of her skull. “Ella-! Ella just-!”
“She’s not a ghost, shishishishi!” Lynette cackled. “But could you imagine…”
“Ella, are you alright?” Sylvia asked. “You look…”
The tattered remains of Ella’s negligee clung to her slender frame, and she was hugging herself to preserve her modesty. She looked desperately at the two girls.
“Is… is that the exit!?” She asked hopefully.
Dani looked at the arch and nodded. “Yeah, we think so,” she said.
“Awesome, you’re just on time!” Sylvia cheered. “We can all go through together!”
Ella looked at the eager girl and bit her lip anxiously. “That…”
“Hold on a sec, Sylvia,” Dani said, stopping the other girl before she said anything else. “It’s not that simple. Remember Dakota’s explanation of the rules?”
Sylvia blinked. “Oh! You’re right!”
It had totally slipped her mind. The most important part of scoring in this challenge was that the more people who passed through the exit at the same time, the lower their collective scores would be.
“Assuming no one else has made it through here, which is a fair guess,” Dani said, looking suspiciously at the doll in Sylvia’s bag, “that means if all three of us leave at the same time, we’d all get third place points.”
Dani wanted more than that.
“And-and if nobody gets first place, then nobody gets spared from a transformation, right?” Ella asked anxiously. She looked sharply at Dani. “So… let me go first, then! Please?”
Dani frowned. She was about to say that she deserved to get out of a transformation, especially since Gina had cheated her out of the win last time. But saying that to Ella, who she had beat in the previous challenge, seemed a little rude, so she hesitated.
“Hold on! I’m not going to allow that!” Sylvia planted herself between the both of them like a referee in a boxing match, holding her hands out to the sides. Her eyes burned with determination.
She looked at the nervous Ella first, then at the confused Dani. Then she jammed her thumb into her chest.
“Spared from a transformation? Not on my watch!” Sylvia declared. “Sorry but if either of you want to go through that archway first, I’m tagging along, and we’re both getting second!” And it went without saying that Sylvia had no intention of getting first place herself, either.
“What!?” Ella’s jaw dropped.
“Oh, come on! Are you kidding me!?” Dani exclaimed.
Sylvia crossed her arms over her chest and flashed a smug smile. “If it wasn’t for me, Dani, you wouldn’t have even gotten there. Whose big sister was it that guided you through the maze again?”
Dani wanted to argue but couldn’t.
“Shishishishi, you’re welcome,” Lynette cackled. She and Sylvia were on the same page about this.
Ella screamed and recoiled from the talking doll. “What the fuck!?” She exclaimed, sounding an awful lot like Cinder there.
“Look, here’s how this will go, my girls,” Sylvia said, clapping her hands together. “You two can share second place. I’m fine with third! But- I’m drawing the line at anybody skipping out on a transformation. Okay?”
She tilted her head to the side and flashed a cutesy smile. “If you guys have a problem with that, we could always just all pass through together and all get third?”
Dani sulked, knowing Sylvia had them both over a barrel. But as irritated as she was at getting **** to take another transformation, she couldn’t deny that Sylvia was right- she HAD led Dani to the exit. At any time she could have separated from her and just had Lynette lead her and only her to the end.
It stung, but she had to give Sylvia her due. If this was what the other girl wanted, well… Sylvia had been the reason she was in a position to get to the exit in the first place, after all.
“Fine…” Ella sighed. If she didn’t have a choice, second was better than third.
The two girls passed under the arch, as Sylvia watched carefully. Then she followed them through, and a screen flashed overhead.
2nd- Dani
2nd- Ella
3rd- Sylvia
The remaining numbers were all empty, and would remain that way, until the next group of girls showed up a few minutes later.
“Woo-hoo! Look! There’s the exit! I knew it was the right move, relying on my sense of smell!” Carly said proudly, her feet pounding across the brick floor.
“It wasn’t just you though,” Marley reminded her, her breasts bouncing in her tight dress. She couldn’t wait to be out of this maze. Hopefully her clothes would return to normal. “It was Vivian’s idea, don’t forget.”
“That’s right,” Vivian grinned. “Since Dani and Sylvia were following that doll’s instructions to get out of the maze, following after their scent was the best way to get to the end!”
It had really helped guide them the rest of the way, and Carly’s glasses had helped too.
“Luckily you know Dani’s scent so well, eh?” Gina teased. But if she expected to embarrass Carly with that, she was in for a surprise. The cosplayer just turned to her friend and stuck out her tongue as they reached the arch.
“So, um…” Morgana fidgeted. “How should we… go about doing this? I mean… if we all go at the same time, then won’t we all get less points?”
“Oh yeah, good thinking,” Marley nodded.
“I didn’t even think of that,” Holly said, scratching her head. “Then again, I can’t get points anyway, so does it even matter?” Without another thought, she headed out of the room, and to sweet freedom. She had been apart from Nick for way too long, and wanted to return to his side as soon as possible. “Come on, guys, don’t hold back!”
Morgana looked at the other girls. She swallowed, and stepped forward. “I… I’m almost at 100 Victory Points, s-so… I can stay back and-”
“Nope! Not happening!” Vivian draped her arm around Morgana’s shoulder and yanked her forward. “Sorry, but we all made it this far together, we’re going through together! As friends!”
“Awabuhwahwha!?” Morgana stuttered out, her eyes spinning in confusion. “B-buh… but…”
“I guess that’s fair,” Carly said, scratching her head as her watch transformation wore off and she returned to her normal self. “Vivian, you came in clutch in that last bit, so it’s reasonable.”
Marley looked at her sister, surprised. “Seriously?” She questioned Carly. “But all that stuff about wanting to get as high a score as possible and win…”
Carly flashed her sister a grin and waved her hand. “That? Who needs it!” She scoffed, shaking her head. “Standing by my girls is WAY more important!”
She gave Vivian an impish smile, who returned the look with a grateful grin of her own. “Thanks,” the heiress mouthed.
“So we’re all going together, then?” Gina asked. “Works for me.”
The five girls passed through the arch together, adding new names to the tally.
2nd- Dani
2nd- Ella
3rd- Sylvia
7th- Carly
7th- Gina
7th- Morgana
7th- Vivian
As they saw their rankings posted, they weren’t that bothered by it. They’d scored low, but… whatever. No one had any complaints.
It took a while longer before anyone entered the room again, not that any of the triumphant contestants would notice. Because of how the time dilation in the labyrinth worked, everybody exited at roughly the same time, even if there were hours of difference between when they passed under the arch.
Dawn, Kim, and Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin were the next three to make it to the exit, courtesy of the secret passage that Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin had discovered. It was quite a bit of luck for her to find that, because without it, they very likely would have been the last ones through.
Kim and Dawn headed towards the exit, only for Kim to stop when she saw Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin had stopped.
“Wait, what’s up?” She asked, turning back to her friend. “Come on.” She beckoned for the other girl to come with them, but Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin shook her head adamantly.
Kim frowned and looked to Dawn, and the tired, impaired, and transformed cat girl just shook her head and let out an exasperated sigh.
“Why bother?” She grumbled, scratching her shaggy hair. “I think she’s saying that she wants you to go, so you’ll get a higher score than her.”
Dawn may have had some mental impairments thanks to various factors in the challenge, but she could at least remember that much.
Kim looked at Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin in surprise. “Is… is that right?” She asked.
The assassin flashed a smile and nodded cheerily. Kim was happy… at least, a little happy. But she was also hesitant. After all, she currently had MORE Victory Points than her friend. And a lot more than Dawn. And since she was pretty certain that she wouldn’t be getting any transformation exemption anyway if she somehow left before either of them…
“…Whatever,” she sighed in exasperation. “Dawn, you can go ahead of us. We’ll both stay behind.”
Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin looked at Kim in wordless shock. Dawn blinked, confused, but didn’t need to be told twice.
“…Well, if you’re sure,” she said hesitantly, turning towards the exit, pausing to give Kim one last chance to change her mind, or the mute girl the chance to change it for her.
Kim didn’t change her mind. Not even when Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin gave her a questioning look.
“It’s for the best,” she encouraged her friend. “Dawn needs the points more than we do.”
Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin let out a silent sigh embellished with exaggerated gestures, rolled her eyes, and surrendered.
Dawn frowned, not sure she liked being a charity case. But she was too exhausted at this point to say anything. She walked under the arch, followed by the other two girls.
2nd- Dani
2nd- Ella
3rd- Sylvia
7th- Carly
7th- Gina
7th- Morgana
7th- Vivian
8th- Dawn
10th- Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin
10th- Kim
Silence fell over the maze again as the girls checked their scores, seeing they were further behind than they expected. And then, a tired Amelia trudged into the exit chamber a few minutes later. Even though her clothes were sticky, her hair was a mess, and she walked with the uneasy gait of a woman who’d been **** to pleasure herself to unwanted intrusive thoughts of her stepson’s genitalia, she carried herself to the exit with dignity and allowed her score to be recorded without a word.
2nd- Dani
2nd- Ella
3rd- Sylvia
7th- Carly
7th- Gina
7th- Morgana
7th- Vivian
8th- Dawn
10th- Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin
10th- Kim
11th- Amelia
When Amelia saw that she was in eleventh place, her heart wavered briefly out of sympathy for Rose. She would be coming in last if those rankings were correct. She looked briefly back at the chamber behind her, wondering if maybe she had been too impatient. It wouldn’t have been the worst thing in the world to stay behind and wait for the other woman, would it? They’d gotten through so much of the maze together, after all.
Pausing, she shook her head and realized the absurdity of that thought. If she and Rose had passed through the arch together, then they would have only tied for last place. Nothing Amelia could have done would have raised Rose’s score, save for throwing the challenge herself, and that was out of the question.
It may not have been her proudest moment, but she had made the winning move. (Or, well, the second-to-last place move…)
There wasn’t anything to be ashamed about.
Putting Rose out of her mind, she turned and finished climbing up the stairs, leaving the maze silent and still as it awaited the final contestant to complete the maze.
Finally, Rose stepped into the chamber.
She was a wreck.
Her long hair clung to her body, glued into clumps by strands of Nick’s semen. More of it stained her clothes. She’d been so **** to make up for lost time that she hadn’t even bothered to clean herself. She was tired, she was irritated, and she knew that she wasn’t going to rank very high. Not with how she’d been waylaid by that sudden shift of the maze’s layout.
But it was done. The exit was in sight, and she was finally free. Letting out a frustrated sigh she stomped towards the arch, staggering through it and pausing, waiting to see how the scores would be tallied.
The final total stood, showing her just how far behind the audience’s choices put her.
2nd- Dani
2nd- Ella
3rd- Sylvia
7th- Carly
7th- Gina
7th- Morgana
7th- Vivian
8th- Dawn
10th- Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin
10th- Kim
11th- Amelia
12th- Rose
Rose didn’t even have the strength to be upset at this point. Letting out a tired, frustrated scream she stomped up the stairs, balling up her fists, and prayed that what awaited her at the top was a shower. Surely even last place was entitled to that!
So, with a surprising lack of fanfare, we make it to the end of the challenge!
