Hustle past

Jessica decided dawdling would do nothing. Not giving him anytime to look in her direction, Jessica hustled with what strength she had left. She hadn't even passed the man, when he wheeled around a locked eyes with her. "Oi, where do you think you are going hunter?" he asked tauntingly as he leveled his gun at her. Jessica steps sputtered, as she was unable to muster a sprint.
"Um... I'm.... not a hunter?" She offered lamely with a grin hidden behind the tall collar.
A gunshot rang out, glancing her leg. The blow was surprisingly not as bloody piercing as it was jarring as pain shot up her leg had been dipped in ice water, sending her to her knees.
"One second boys." the gunner called behind him, as he audibly reloaded the rifle..
The Gunman walked closer, but not close enough for anything rash.
"Nahow... give me one reason na to shoot ya proper hunter" he asked, as he leveled a shot aimed at her head.
