Chapter 9 by ScribeOfLilith ScribeOfLilith

Who Won The Fight: Hunter, Jason or Something Else?

Hunter

Kat meticulously passes her crimson stare across the barren forest pass where both the Hunter and Jason previously stood. The lack of movement causes temporary concern, until she makes out the silhouetted shape of the hunter leant against a tree. It's obvious they are wounded, as she watches the wooden stake slip from their grip and fall onto the ground beneath.

Bethan's voice slid into Kat's receptive ear as she spoke in an authoritative tone; "It's clear the hunter is tired, now would be the perfect time to bring her into our ranks." Kat snarled in response as she pushed herself up and away from the soil before striding purposefully toward her soon to be vampiric sister. Lacey's giggles were quickly silenced by Bethan's hungry lips as they continued sating their desires.

Kats fang tipped lips curled into a knowing grin.

Up ahead she could see hunter, unaware of their approach.

Jason is gone, likely slain.

Kat stood silently assessing the situation, there were two clear ways she could approach the hunter.

Firstly as she was still adorn in bloodied clothes Kat could use subterfuge to trick her prey. By running up screaming about fanged girls and a miraculous escape akin to her own last moments before sinking her fangs into the hunters neck or she could take Jason's approach going for Vampire. Though it didn't end well for him, at least this time the hunter is severely weakened and may not be expecting another Vampire let alone a trio of Vampiric Vixens if she summoned the others.

How Will Kat Proceed; With Subterfuge or Vampiric Prowess?
