Hunted Deer

The Hunter? Yeah, the guy was surely a character known in the fandom, even though he never made an appearance in any of the movies, only his dogs. The idea of him becoming the face of this faceless character was interesting to him. Especially considering that he would be taking Bambi.

“I’d like to play the Hunted Deer scenario.” Josh said, and Bambi nodded at him.

As soon after Josh said these words, the scenario around him started to change. The infinite dark ceiling changed into a color that was more likely that of the sky. The digital ground beneath him changed to be grass. The room around him changed and transformed as trees sprouted from around the man until he found himself in the middle of a forest.

Josh looks around, and he then notices that he is holding something in his right hand. Josh felt shocked to see that he was holding a hunting rifle in his hands, the kind that one would use to hunt forest animals. That was the moment when josh realized that his clothes had changed, as he was now dressed like a hunter, from the vest on his chest and the belt full of hunting material around his waist to the boots on his feet.

“Master, Master!” Someone said, and then Josh looked up. For the first time, he noticed that Bambi was no longer there, however, there were others in there. All of them were anthropomorphic dogs, wearing shorts of different colors, and one of them approached the human.

“Master!” The dog said, “The trap! The trap you set! The one over there!” He pointed at the direction that he had just came. “It worked! A deer got caught on the trap! The others are in there making sure he won’t escape! We gotta go!”

Josh, overcoming his shock for the sudden change, soon was getting in the character.

“Show it to me, my loyal dog.” He said, and the dog was more than happy to guide him. Josh followed the dog, the other ones coming right behind him (there should be what, six of them?), and Josh could feel a rush of excitement, as he already had a very good idea of what he was going to find.

They were near a track. There were two other dogs, and they were barking at something that was hanging from the tree. Something that was swinging from side to side. Josh approached, and he soon could take a good look at what it was.

There was a net hanging from a long rope from that tree. It was a classical trap that you often saw in these old movies. Inside of the net, was no other than Bambi, struggling to get free, but failing miserably at it, and only managing to make the net swing harder from the rope.

Yeah, it looked like the Prince of the Forest was unable to free himself.
