Human

Humans are the most populous race in the world... As far as they can tell, at any rate. Though the orcs are known to form some agricultural settlements, and the colonial elves presumably have a land of their own far across the seas, for the most part it is humans that build, fill, and destroy the great kingdoms of the world.

In Avaria, it is only humans who are considered 'citizens.' The elves don't often wander far from their camps on the northern edge of the kingdom, save for a handful who reside in the Capital as ambassadors. The forests surrounding Avaria are home to a small orc population, but they tend to keep to themselves, fleeing any civilized incursions onto their land. There are rumors of some wayward orcs living among humans in the remote lumber camps and villages on the edge of the kingdom, but these cases are few and far between.

Ultimately, in Avaria the most important distinction is not between races, but between genders.
