Female

As a woman of Avaria, you hold a submissive position, regardless of your station in life. For the hundreds of years since the sorcerers cast their mighty spell, women have been subservient to men in all aspects. Simply by virtue of being female, you are nothing but property, available to any man who desires you. High or low, young or old, bachelor or married, relative or stranger... All men may do with you as they see fit.

This arrangement is not entirely egalitarian, though. If you are of noble birth, you are likely protected from the attentions of commoners by your family's influence... That is, if none of them enjoy seeing you suffer, or wish to donate your body for the pleasure of their subjects. If you are of common birth, you may live a relatively peaceful life with a husband and family, or be the sole form of entertainment for a whole village, constantly used and abused.

Though there are no women among the mighty sorcerers who keep Avaria under control, some say that women may be born with a talent for magic... If true, those women should be cautious, for the mere existence of such an individual poses a great threat to the status quo.
