Huge decisions!

As the three of you finish your breakfast and put your dishes away you hear the front door open. It is your mom and she is talking to someone. Looking down the hall you see Aunt Peg and Cousin Chloe were with her. They were absolutely buzzing about something.

Fiona has a grim look on her face as she knew she was going to have to break the news to the family very soon.

You all meet and greet then go to sit in the living room. Whatever had them going must be pretty big, your mother hadn't even asked about the night before and your strange request of her.

As everyone settles in Fiona stands up and clears her throat. "I have an announcement to make everyone..."

Your mother waves her to sit down. "Sit down Fiona. Aunt Peg has something to say."

Peg was smiling from ear to ear, as were your mother and Chloe. She begins. "Jesse, remember that data I said I collected? From your procedure." You nod. She looks around to the gathered Bailey women. "Girls, I have a cure! Jesse held the key the whole time, that missing x-factor I've been searching for for decades. It was right there, plain as day. Just waiting in our boy Jesse to be discovered."

Your mother and Chloe already knew the news and just sat there smiling. Both Fiona and Elsie gasp almost in unison. For poor Elsie, with all that had already happened that day, this was just too much to contain. She begins weeping tears of joy. Your mother goes and hugs her. Eyes begin to tear up all around, including your own. Everyone stands and goes to embrace around your sobbing little sister.

After so long, after so much secrecy, after so much denying themselves some of the most simple pleasures in life, a cure was finally here. The Bailey curse was soon to be over! It was finally over!

You hold each other tightly as you laugh and kiss and cry. Your powerful Bailey love binding you in that moment stronger than ever. While you were a bit of a bystander in this whole thing you could still bask in the joy your family was feeling.

After a long time you come apart and take your seats once more. Peg laughs. "Now, it will take me some time. But it is a sure thing at this point. You'll each have to make your own decision of course. But the cure won't be going away once I have it."

The women are positively beaming at one another. Your mother and her sister are sitting side by side, holding each other tightly. Chloe sits with her hands folded on her lap with a wide goofy grin. Fiona has a far away look as she couldn't believe what she was hearing. And Elsie...Elsie is looking at you with such a look of pure joy that it made your heart sing. You smile and give her a wink.

They begin chatting. Talking about all the things they'd do once they were normal women. Fiona wants to wear tighter and shorter more revealing clothes, Elsie wants to go to the beach, your mother wants to be able to wear shorts for gardening, and it goes on and on and on. They talk about how weird it will be only having one set of equipment and they theorize what life will be like as regular women. Their joy is absolutely contagious. You sit there quietly, just happy to share this special moment with them.

Your mother finally clears her throat. "And of course, most importantly, we can seek out normal relationships. No more hiding away. No more, well, no more need for the other part of our secret. We can be like a normal family."

There is a mixed reaction to this. A special bond had been formed between the group of them, a bond you too were just beginning to feel yourself now that you were involved. They are still joyful, but just a hint of melancholy enters the mood now too. Things would be changing in all sorts of ways.

Finally, after the shock of that news dissipates Aunt Peg turns to you. "And Jesse, our hero, how are you doing my boy? Are you enjoying the new you." She smiles. "If you have any doubts we still have a small window to change you back again."

You cock your head. "You guys said it was permanent."

She nods. "Oh it is. After a few days there will be no going back. But there is a short window where it is still reversible. I thought I'd give you what you wanted for a bit before I let you in on that part." She gives you a wink.

Out of the corner of your eye you see Elsie staring at you intently. Silently urging you. You look at her. God she was so beautiful, those deep brown eyes staring into yours.

Wow, decisions all around. The women had theirs and you had yours.

Allison was happy with you as you were. It seemed an obvious choice, keep the meat, assuming you could get Peg to help you get control over your urges. Looking at El you realize she would soon be a normal girl. A gorgeous, smart, funny, sexy normal girl. She'd be able to have any guy she wanted once she was playing the field.

You all lean back as silence claims the room. Each of you lost in your own thoughts.
