How does the magic work?

The base of the magic is quite simple: any outfit or piece of clothing within the mansion grounds has the ability to change to wearer's body.

1. The magic is only in effect on the mansion's grounds.
2. The magic works through clothing. (The definition of clothing can be rather broad ;) )
3. One piece of clothing will effect only that related area and a small bit around to create a less obvious transition.
4. Full outfits will transform the entire wearer, even the bits that arent covered.
5. The wearer will always transform in whoever wore the item or outfit last outside the mansion grounds.
6. If the item or outfit has never been worn, the wearer will either become a male or female version of themselves with the dimensions to perfectly fit the outfit or the wearer will take on transformations to become the model that was show on the packaging.
7. leaving the mansion grounds doesn't revert one back to their original form.
8. when in a transformed combination form you wear a new outfit outside of the mansion grounds, that outfit will then transform the wearer into the combination form the next time they wear that outfit on the mansion grounds. allowing for body combinations to be registered to a specifc outfit.
9. breaking or cutting clothing will not result in the magic working differently, if the clothing is deemed unwearable the magic simply stops.

The following are only rules for the main story, side branches that break these will be marked with **** for non-canon.

1. Taking off the clothes halfway will not result in a half finished result, instead it will either revert back to its previous form or the destination form. this will be deterimned by when it is taken off and if exactly halfway its random.
2. Mental changes are minimal. no personality shifts, alternate identities or believeing they are somebody else. only some minor convinious stuff. Knowing how to walk in heels or how to wear a bra, or how to shave your beard.
3. Two people wearing one outfit will not result in anything. (This rule might change, maaybe they would become twins, maybe theyd share 1 body, not sure but for now it doesnt work)
4. there is no reality shift so people will not believe Mark has always been Hellen's maid nor will they regnosie him as that.

I might have forgotten something but for now this is all I wrote down when I first planned it. I hope it helps with understanding the story and the potential ways I want to expand the story.
