Calypso Rose Maze, had defied all laws of my DNA and genetic make up by being born from my loins. Hermaphrodites like me never have children naturally. Take my own mom and ma for instance. They used a bunch of science to create my ass. Yet.. here in my arms, the tiny bundle stared up at me with sleepy brown eyes, behind long dark lashes, luminous pale skin to match my own and jet black hair.. again, to match my own. What surprised me greatly was Mrs. Elaine signing away parental rights... simply because the baby was mine? How could they even be sure though?

"The DNA results have proven that this child is yours Kyro. What do you plan on doing now? College was seemingly never on your plate. So what now?"

My ma questioned me pointedly. She threw her platinum blond hair up in a tight bun whenever she was stressed, and I mean... her being stressed was definitely my fault. I was pretty sure she'd burn a trail in the ground soon if she didn't stop pacing back and forth. People like me weren't supposed to have potent semen... at least that's what the last few decades of scientific studies had shown.

I chewed on my bottom lip and accepted the bottle of warm formula from my mom, awkwardly feeding Calypso even though she felt so breakable and tiny in my arms. There was no way I could do this. Not on my own at least-
