Chapter 63 by Faustus Faustus

What Kind Of Movie Do They Pick?

Horror

With Autumn moving in, and Halloween around the corner, the two decided on a scary movie. Ian complained that it wouldn't be scary in the day time with light coming through the window, but he put the movie on anyway.

The first half was dull, and not the best writing. There were so many subplots that Emma wondered where the hell things were going, but it picked up a bit midway. There were mostly jump scares, making Emma lean in to Ian every time one got her. Then the movie decided to take things a bit far and it got gory. Emma had to hide her face more than once.

One particular scene had Emma hiding her eyes by leaning fully against Ian and shielding her face against his chest. The young man wrapped an arm around her and held her close. Despite the poor movie choice, Emma found herself liking this.

"Is it over yet?" Emma asked, her words muffled by the shelter of Ian's shirt.

"I'm not going to tell you even if it is, because then you might move away." Ian said.

"You're cute," Emma replied, then braved a peek at the screen. The monster was brutally attacking a helpless victim, looking very frightening as it did so. "You're also an asshole!" Emma yelled, looking away from the TV to Ian.

Ian's answer was to move in and kiss her. The movie, and the scary looking monster, were forgotten almost instantly. Emma was kissing back, clenching Ian's shirt as his tongue gently explored hers.

Emma didn't immediately stop Ian as his hand went up and felt her breast over her shirt. She continued the kiss, letting out a small moan of approval into Ian's mouth. Ian took this as a sign to proceed and moved his free hand to her knee, bravely inching it ever-so-slowly up her leg.

Emma felt good. Ian was a great kisser, and she couldn't deny what his hands were doing to her. Her libido spiked, but she also knew that she had genuine feelings for Ian and wasn't sure if doing more would be the best thing for them. She had had meaningful relationships in the past after sleeping with men on the first date. Sure, some guys only wanted the conquest and then to move on to the next thing, but Ian seemed more decent than that.

Emma could sense an urgency growing in Ian's kissing. If she was going to pump the brakes, she should do it before they got too hot and heavy. Of course she could just let him know that she wanted a hot and heavy make-out session, but she didn't plan on sleeping with him. Emma made up her mind and broke off the kiss. Ian smiled at her, his hands stopping as the boy realized she was about to say something.

Should They Slow Things Down?
