"It might..." Ethan answers honestly.

Charlie takes a shakey breath, then quickly sips her beer. Setting it down, she clears her throat. "Okay... Well... if it does..." she averts her eyes, "We shouldn't let it change anything, you know?"

Ethan nods, understanding her enough.

"Anyways..." Charlie downs the rest of her beer, "Do you wanna... Maybe... Join Sam and Ashley?"

"Huh?" Ethan feels something in the mood shift.

"Just to, you know," she shrugs, "Ease the mood a little?"

Sighing, Ethan gets it. Frankly, he does feel a little bit of tension. Glancing over at the other two, Ethan considers his options.
