Home sweet home

Thankfully, the walk back was rather peaceful. Especially now that all of Minnie's clothes had been taken ahead back to the Maple home. While there was still the matter of getting said clothes all put into their natural places, that was a project for a future day.

"Oh my." Caroline announced as the trio entered the home. The mother unchanged from when they left, that was to be expected. "How are you feeling, Minnie?"

Minnie's cheeks turned crimson. Looking away, she tried her best to find the words. Yet all that came out was the sputtering of syllables. Catching looks from her aunts, she took care in splitting her focus between them.

"Quite well, actually." Minnie announced as the redness of her cheeks faded away. Letting out a deep breath, she took a moment to compose herself. While there was definitely work that needed to be done when it came to her persona, she had more than enough time to do just that. "I think I'm starting to feel like the person I want to be."

Carol and Mabelle looked at each other. Smiles on their faces, then it was back over to Minnie. Very much happy to hear that, they watched Minnie make the walk upstairs.
