Slipping into who she wants to be

Over the next couple weeks, things shifted into a familiar rhythm for Minnie.

Each morning, she would get up and get dressed. Taking care to practice her mannerisms in front of the mirror, it was of utmost importance that she kept this particular regiment up.

"I can't wait to show off my new outfit to everyone." Minnie thought as she did a twirl in front of the mirror. Watching her petticoats move about, euphoria echoed about her mind. With the added height of her heels, one might even think that she was a housewife of sorts. The thought tingled Minnie's mind, but it was just that. A thought.

Of course, such a look would not be complete without some makeup. Pulling her gaze away from the mirror, she made a beeline over to her vanity. There, Minnie got to work.

"I'm glad mom got me all of those vintage makeup guides." Minnie thought as she got to work. Taking care to ensure that she was doing in a timely manner while also to the best of her abilities, she made it look quite easy. "Perfect."

Admiring herself for a moment, Minnie blew the vanity's mirror a kiss. Standing up, it was a cinch to elegantly walk to her door and head out.
